I am using this with a Uniden detector and it works great. I have no rattling sounds from it all in my Honda CR V!

Works perfect for Uniden R3!
The mount itself is pretty decent. I installed it on my 2016 Fiat 500X with a Uniden R3 and works just fine on the rear-view mirror and does not move. The hard wire kit works perfectly as well. Instead of tapping into the fuse-box (didn't have any fuse TAPs on hand) I tapped off of my radio leads. This mount kit is a great bargain for the price. Way cheaper than blend mount that does the same thing.

Great bracket!
First off it would have been nice to have an option to purchase without the wiring harness. The bracket is great, the quality is there and it is made in the USA. Holds my Uniden R7 perfectly. After 3000 miles of highway, construction zones and dirt roads it hasn't budged.

IT does not come with the fuse tap, be aware. Its a decent mount. Works with R3
I just got the package and low and behold....no fuse tap. It comes with the wire and the blue connect needs to be connected to a fuse tap. You can splice into a wire with a wire tap, those are provided, but I dont think people want to cut into the factory wiring at all.The mounting screws that actually lock on to the rear view mirror are a bit long... I had to readjust and I still may cut those screws as its touches and could scratch the back of your review.Its a decent mount though. I have not had it through a rough trip as yet, but seems to be held some what firmly.PLEASE BE AWARE...this DOES NOT come with the fuse tap. Its even written on the instructions "Fuse tap sold seperately".EDIT-After speaking with the company, promptly....they explained why it does not come with the tap. I personally do not see it the same way, but I understand their point. I have adjusted my review. Thank you Radar mount for reaching out.

Doesn't work with Uniden R3
Stupid me for not testing this before installing it. But after two hours of install, it will not power on my Uniden R3. Fuses are all good, and I can verify power through the inline fuse on the cord, but the R3 doesn't come on. Additionally, the mount is too short to get my radar detector down underneath my mirror, so it's useless too.

All I could say thank, you thank you thank you…As pictures speak louder than words…I have bought many mirroring devices over the years, this is the only one that delivers the magic!

Great mount for rear view mirror
Sturdy mount that doesn't jiggle when hitting bumps. Keeps radar detector in same position. I used the clamps for the rear view mirror mount. I didn't use suction cups.

Simple clean install
Very clean install, closely hugs the bottom of the mirror.
