I was really happy to hear that Ecodept are selling their products in the UK now. I bought one of their travel towels a couple of years ago in the US for a diving trip and now it is the first thing I put in my luggage whenever I travel! So glad I could finally buy one for my partner.Travel towels are all the same, right? Wrong!I have had towels that don't actually dry you - or worse, cling to your skin which totally creeps me out - not the Ecodept one, which is soft and dries you brilliantly. I have had travel towels that simply refuse to dry out and then get smelly - not the Ecodept one, which dries really quickly, even between dives. On that point remember to rinse out the saltwater as it dries even quicker then.I love the way they are packaged, the handy little bag they come with and the colours - my old one is the orange one but I'm loving the blue one I just bought. Also they are light and compact, so not an issue to carry around in your sports bag, back pack or dive kit.The picture is of my Ecodept towel in the Maldives, it has also been all over Belize and Guatemala, and on numerous camping and festival trips. I think Arthur Dent would approve - after all, a towel about the most massively useful thing an interstellar hitchhiker can have!

I love this towel and it's smaller version, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical at first, I thought it was going to be very coarse and rough...but it's totally the opposite...it's smooth, well made and feels great against your skin and even comes with its own little bag/pouch to store it in. I've used them both a lot since I got them as I tend to go walking alot to try and keep healthy...but in the heat the UK has been having lately I have found myself sweating a lot more than usual and the mini towel has been a godsend, thanks to its label hook and popper I have been able to clip it into my bag and use it and then let it dry in the sun as I continue walking along. The larger towel is great for use on top of a cushion on a chair or a sun lounger in these hot days when you are perspiring like mad. Just make sure you follow the cleaning instructions thoroughly to make sure it maintains its greatness, failure to do so will damage the make up of it.

Not what I expected but great towel! Comes in handy carry case and the super absorbent material is perfect for outdoor camping trips or even just to the beach! Hubby decided to buy another one for himself!

Brilliant idea. Large, light weight, highly absorbant towel. Fantastic for travel. Can now take two towels when I go away without worrying about space and weight, so can have the one from a shower drying whilst I take the other swimming. Dries really well, although initially feels strange as different from a terry cotton towel. Great for the kids when they go to the pool at school, less bulky bags to carry all day and not so heavy for them. Additional small towel/face cloth is big enough to wrap and dry long hair. My daughter finds it very useful with her waist length thick hair. Washes and dries easily and quickly. Very useful bag to pack it in. All in all a fantastic Idea. Will be getting more.

Have not used it yet but it has washed & dried very well & quickly. The small towel is more like a large face cloth, can't do much with that not even put your hair up in it. Be warned, the bag it comes in is useless for getting the towels back in again once they have been taken out.

I have been using microfibre towels for years. They are very effective for drying but take up very little space: ideal for me because I cycle to my swimming pool. With any microfibre towel I first use a flannel to remove most excess water, which is rather necessary because I am a bit of a gorilla.This travel towel is beautifully soft and very generously sized but folds small. The face towel is a bonus. I swim several times a week and only use a towel once before washing. I haven’t had this towel for long but it seems likely to perform like others of a different make which I have used and washed many, many times.

I delayed this write up and made sure I would use the towel several times before coming to my conclusion. This is a great towel, I use it every week for my swimming, hang it up in the office and it gets dry super quickly. No more bulky towels to carry around and then putting them in a dryer using electricity to dry it off. This lightweight towel is very smooth on the skin and you quickly get the technique of dabbing the water rather than the conventional way of drying yourself. It is so good I will be buying another for home use, highly recommended.

Quick delivery and impressed with quality. Got as a gift for someone who is going travelling. It was nice that it came in a box and has its own bag to help with packing.
