NATIKA Hidden License Plate Backup/Front View Camera
I installed this camera on a 2006 Subaru Forester connecting to a JVC KW-M740BT stereo. I'm using an iPhone 6S+. The installed results are what desired. The picture quality is more than acceptable for the desired purpose. I was expecting to see what was behind me when backing up and didn't expect the picture to be of the same quality as what my phone would take.I removed the interior panel of the the hatch lid. I drilled a hole just to the left of the hatch opening handle and as far out of sight as I could to thread the cable into the car. I threaded the cable through the rubber cable tray which exits the hatch next to the hinge into the ceiling of the car. I then threaded the cable down the back left side to the left rear tail light. I connected the black wire to ground and soldered the power cable to the backup light positive cable. There was a short red cable that I soldered to the short red cable of the 24 ft RCA cable going to the stereo headset.Threading the cable from the back of the Forester to the front was a long process. I was able to pass it up the left side to the rear seat area where I then moved it to the right side and followed the factory wiring along the doors to the front of the car. Expect a several hour job threading the cables. After threading the cables and connecting to the headset, I then tested before finishing installing the headset. After I got the wiring connected, I soldered the short red wire on the RCA cable to the reverse wire on the head set. Now when I put the car in reverse, the headset activates the camera showing what's behind the car. There are a few adjustments I still need to make to adjust the camera backup lines and there may be some other adjustments which I'll eventually do.I am more than satisfied with this camera. Were I to do it again, I believe I would have purchased the Natika IP69K and mounted it to the left of the license plate as the license plate camera is conflicting with the hatch opening handle. In summary, the product does what I expected it to do. Installation took longer than I expected, but it's only a onetime process and the results were rewarding.

The clearest camera
I installed this as my backup camera and this is the clearest camera I've ever seen on any car I've been in

great product and great customer service.
The media could not be loaded. Just installed the Natika WD-778 backup camera on my Honda Ridgeline. This camera tied in beautifully with the Kenwood DMX 905s replacement radio I also installed. The most difficult problem was routing the wires from the cab to the truck bumper. The camera is very small and the license plate holder fits well and does not cover the plate at all. I ran a separate power line along with the provided video line and tied in to an accessory fuse so that the camera would be powered and viewed while driving. Very useful to see a trailer when driving.Initially I had a problem getting rid of the factory guidelines on the camera so as to use the adjustable ones in the radio. You simply cut the green line, but must have the camera powered off. Allen at customer service was extremely helpful solving just problem which if I had read the instructions closer I wouldn’t have had to ask.So far I am very pleased with the results. The picture quality and color is very good. Seems to have a good wide angle view. Customer service is excellent. Very fast response to my question. Highly recommend this product.Update. Had a problem with camera in fall. Contacted customer service. Amy was very helpful and immediately arranged to send a replacement camera which was super easy to install and corrected the problem. Great customer service. Highly recommend this company product.

Great picture combined with double din JVC radio
There are only 2 drawbacks with this camera: 1) the video and reverse trigger wire require a fairly large hole through the trunk lid, different than other cameras that have a relatively thin connector such that the video out rca plug doesn't have to go through the hole (I primed the drilled hole, then put a grommet around the wire, sealing the hole from any water getting in); 2) the reverse trigger wire is extremely thin, a little difficult to connect to the reverse lamp wire and reverse trigger wire from the radio - but no connection issues after installation, so is working well. These were not problematic enough to reduce the ratings, however. Picture through the JVC double din radio is outstanding, even at night. While the JVC radio has its own adjustable backup camera guidelines, I chose to keep the Natika backup guides as they seem to be aligned correctly. That may be a function of angling the camera in the right position purely accidentally - don't know. If the angle needs to change for some reason, I may go with the JVC guidelines. Camera looks as sturdy as any OEM cameras I've seen. The license plate holder is great as it sits behind the license plate, thus not blocking any lettering on the plate. After a few weeks, durability seems good. Straight 5 star rating for all.

Works great and easy to install
I chose this camera since I wouldn't have to drill any holes in my bumper or figure out some other mounting approach. I was also able to use it with my existing license price frame. The mounting bracket is reasonably thin, but sturdy. Installation was simple as I used the existing license plate screws to fasten it in place. The quality of the image is very good and the price is reasonable. I did clip the wire to disable the guidelines and am using the guidelines built into my headunit. The instructions on which wire to cut were clear and easily understood. I get power for the camera at the head unit and grounded it at the battery, since the battery is located next to the tail lights and it provides the best ground in this area of my vehicle. In summary, I would recommend this camera as it meets my expectations.
