PAPALOOK HD 1080P Webcam AF925 with Auto Focus, Fold-and-Go Design, 360-Degree Swivel, Noise Reduction Microphone, USB Computer Laptop Camera - Black

Bought this Papalook AF925 webcam for home office use in lockdown. Lots of webcams were out of stock so I didn't have a huge choice and this seemed to be solid middle of range offerings. Seems some webcams are really cheap and some really expensive - I'm no expert! I wanted something that was plug and play with latest version of Windows (10?) and a lot of reviews on other cameras said this was not always straightforward. The Papalook connected easily and was very simple to install / use. I've had no issues with it working with Windows. It clips securely on the top of one of my screens, has a sharp image and good field of focus. Light comes on when in use (handy mainly because it reminds me when I'm on a call and have forgotten to turn it on). The autofocus works, but I've actually turned it off (in advanced settings) as sometimes it would refocus on my hand or something and I don't move about enough on calls to require changes in focus. If you use the integrated microphone there is a definite clicking each time the autofocus adjusts which I would imaging is annoying. I use a separate high quality microphone (although the mic on the Papalook was pretty good) so I don;t pick up any clicking and as I say I have disabled autofocus anyway now. I have recorded a number of webinars for broadcast using this webcam and the quality of the recording has been very good. It saves the recording into the CameraRoll folder on the PC and it's easy to send it on from there (although the file it creates is HUGE!) All up - I feel this has been a good purchase.

Great camera with superb picture quality for the price, however the internal microphone suffers from picking up the auto focus adjustments, which are very sensitive and will occur even at the slightest change of the frame. This camera would have got 5 stars from me without a doubt if the sound wasn't so affected by this. If you intend to use the camera for web-cam chats this may not be a problem, but if you are using it to make vlogs or videos you will need to ideally have a separate microphone. This is a real shame as the microphone quality itself is great when the auto focus isn't adding clicking noises.

Overall, this a great webcam. I've been using it for Skyping relatives since transitioning to a desktop computer, and the video quality is excellent, even in low light. The auto focus also works well as advertised - it has no problem refocusing, if you were to hold a document up in front of it, for example. I've got slim monitors, and it still sits securely on top without obstructing the picture. It was also a pleasant surprise to learn that it has two lights that come on to let you know when its in use. I'm not particularly privacy-conscious, but I guess this would be good if you are. I've attached a picture of this for those interested. Microphone quality isn't quite as good as my headset, but then again, they cost £60. People I have spoken to have had no issue hearing me, so I'm not complaining for the price you pay.

I was looking to buy the logitech C920 but sold out on amazon at £89.99 and people on ebay are selling them well over £100+, I'm a Head of a Technology Department and my other ASUS gaming laptop even though 9th generation doesn't have a built-in webcam. I needed it for teams meetings and just plugged this in and it started working straight away. I didn't need to worry about drivers, setting etc. For a fraction of the price of other brands and the current reduced price this is just Amazing, super and perfect. HD, clear image and no sound problems as Ineeded the built-in mic. Don't waste your time spending silly money this should be perfect for any job.

In order to get full functionality for Zoom meetings, I had to ditch my laptop system and use my old video/audio editing desktop. This has a great 24 inch screen and a pair of Bose speakers, but no camera. Without hoping for too much I bought this camera and it has exceeded my wildest expectations from the image point of view. Not so sure about the built in microphone, hence the dropped star, it may work fine in another setup, but clipped to the screen, it picks up my system cooling fans rather too well. However the image was sharp with minimal lag, colour was good, though I was using auxilliary lighting which helped, so I havn't tested its normal ambient lighting capability. Autofocus worked well and tracked my movements well. So a great camera, but a seperate microphone was needed because of my equipment. Excellent

Bought this webcam to add to a new Dell desktop pc and screen. Very pleased with picture definition and quality. Camera attaches to screen securely. Instant plug & play - recommended for good value & quality.

The camera quality is exactly what is advertised, obviously it does struggle slightly in atmospheres with high or low resolution light. Auto- focus is considerably good, picture quality is also good. Easy to connect works great. Quite sturdy when placed on top of a monitor/ TV etc. Great product for a relatively great price. GOOD buy especially in times of coronavirus when we equipment like this is needed for contacting/seeing family and friends. I wouldn't say its the most amazing webcam out there, but there are definitely better, more expensive alternatives.

I have had this for 6 minths now. Easy to set up, auto focus works ,quickly, microphone picks up very well, it is perched on top of my monitor with left and right, up and down adjustment There is nothing else I can say, all in all it is a good web cam and I am pleased with it.

Me dedico al mundo de la impresión 3D, tengo varias maquinas en casa y para montar un sistema de control que pueda ver las impresoras cuando no estoy en casa necesitaba una Webcam con una buena calidad que me permitiese conectarla a internet, y la verdad esta me ha convencido mucho. Tiene un soporte un tanto extraño al principio pero cuando le coges el truco te das cuenta que perfectamente te vale para cualquier situación, ya sea en una pantalla, en un trípode, en una superfície plana.. El hecho que lleve rosca de trípode me ha gustado, ya que gracias a los accesorios de las cámaras de acción me permite montarla en un soporte impreso en 3D y tengo visual directa en todo moemnto de la impresora en una muy buena calidad, con autoenfoque incluso con baja luz. Viene en una cajita únicamente con la cámara y su cable USB y un pequeño manual de instrucciones para instalarla y demás. Muy recomendable

Ich habe lange gesucht und viele Kollegen gefragt. In der Preislage bis 100,-€ gab es viele Tipps und Hinweise. Irgendwann bin ich dann auf die papalook HD 1080P Webcam AF925 mit Autofokus gestoßen. Da es DIE perfekte Webcam in dem Preissegment laut der Bewertungen nicht zu geben scheint, habe ich mir diese Webcam gekauft. Die Herstellerangaben und die bisherigen Kommentare hatten mich überzeugt. Verwendungszweck – Webmeetings beruflich (auch mal bei schlechteren Licht). Ich bin absolut überrascht. Die Bildqualität ist sehr gut (im Vergleich zu meinen Kollegen, die eher auf bekanntere Marken setzen auf jeden Fall!!!). Manchmal ist das Bild etwas hell, was jetzt aber nicht wirklich stört. Zur Not kann man es in den Einstellungen etwas anpassen. Was mich aber besonders freut, ist das verbaute Micro. Bei den ersten Meetings haben mich schon meine Kollegen darauf angesprochen. Glasklar und kein Hall – perfekt. Während meine Kollegen immer noch mit dem Headset da sitzen, kann ich bequem frei sprechen. Die Installation unter Win 10 besteht nur aus dem Einstecken des USB Steckers – fertig. Es werden bisher alle getesteten Plattformen unterstützt (Teams, TeamViewer, Zoom, Webex) Die Kamera hält genau das was versprochen wurde und ich bin sehr froh mich dafür entschieden zu haben. Wer professionelle Influencer Videos erstellen will, sollte etwas mehr investieren. Für Webmeetings ist sie aber perfekt.

Abbiamo comprato questa telecamera , per fare videocorsi online e quindi mi serviva essere visto e sentito . In un attimo e stata riconosciuta de windows 10, senza chiedere nesun driver particolare . E stata riconosciuta in automatico, e da subito a funzionato facendo una videochiamata tramite messenger. Riesce fare autofocus e anche se non e tanta luce nella satanza , l immagine che trasmete e molto luminosa. Ho fatto un paio di prove con vari amici, e tutti mi hanno detto che mi sentono e mi vedono molto bene. Sono molto sotisfato di qualita, anche del design , perche si abbina con schermo del PC. Come sistema da fissare , e molto facile , tramite un gancio che si po registrare a misura per vari tipi di monitor. Come prezzo e un po cara. E arrivata a casa di domenica in meno di 24 ore, grazie Amazon. Consiliatissima

Je l'ai acheté pour le boulot, il y a plus de 2 ans, et franchement elle fonctionne super bien, jamais eu de soucis, la qualité de l'image est au rendez-vous. Je l'utilise quasiment tous les jours. Facile à installer, tient bien en place sur le haut de mon écran. Et je l'ai même utilisée avec un fond vert logiciel sous OBS et ça fonctionne vraiment bien (ce qui montre que la qualité d'image est là)
