Playmobil Fire Station

This is the second Playmobil set we bought. My 4 year old loves it. So does my 1 and 6 yo. It is hard to assemble and time consuming. I believe it took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to assemble. That said, I was also wrangling my kids while putting this together so that added to the time. It did drive me nuts that Playmobil puts the pieces in the bags randomly so you are going back and forth through all of the bags. Otherwise, it is sturdy and they love playing with it!

In our house, every day brings a new emergency, and our three-year-old is always ready to save the day with the Playmobil Fire Station Set! From the moment the alarm sounds, little hands spring into action, pulling on an imaginary helmet and rushing to the scene. The fire station becomes a hub of heroic activity as our young firefighter slides down the pole, jumps into the truck, and races to put out fires across the living room, sometimes rescuing stuffed animals from imaginary flames or saving the kitchen from an erupting volcano of toys. The details in the set are perfect for little heroes with big imaginations. From the realistic fire truck bays to the epic fireman pole..every part sparks creativity and adventure. The rescue missions become more daring each day as our three-year-old dreams up new scenarios, always ready to respond with bravery. My grandson is obsessed, he loves it! However, it IS in fact 181 pieces to assemble. The instructions are severely lacking. The list of parts is on the last page, after you’ve struggled to assemble. There is also a key/tool for the “snaps” but again you wouldn’t know that unless you go to the last page first. I hope it holds up, I would recommend super glueing if your child truly want to play with this for a long time

All of these sets are incredible as far as a Grandma is concerned. I bought two large sets and a couple of smaller ones. All made very well and hold up great for 4-6 year olds and their rough and tumble play

I give it four stars not because it's a bad product; rather it isn't very durable in the hands of smaller kids. The side panel walls come off somewhat easily as well as the upper part of the station and the bottom support plate. Assembly was tedious but not hard and there are a lot of small pieces that I preferred to set aside until my son is a bit older and not prone to lose them.

My son just turned 3 and is obsessed with fire fighters. His daycare is next door so he has visited and sees them daily. This set really captures his imagination. I like that i can scale it back a bit for him in regards to smaller pieces and the set is very durable with him moving it room to room. Great quality and lots of playtime.
