bright, not quite airtight, fairly simple to install, cheap
this is a pretty good light bar for the money. wasn't the easiest install but hardly difficult. I highly recommend taking off the tailgate. it just gives you more room to work with. also test the light bar before you install so you dont go through the installation process for nothing. I used a inline adapter to connect this underneath my truck. This adapter sadly cost more than the light bar. sticking it out of the 4 pin connector on the bumper looks pretty crappy to me. But if its simplicity you want, well, be my guest. If you want the reverse lights to work, you will have to wire the white wire into either one of your reverse lights, or into the wiring harness on your truck. i wired my reverse into the reverse on the inline adapter i bought. that way none of my factory wires were "tampered" with should i have a dealership issue. lol Mounting was pretty straight forward. i ended up cutting 2 pieces of wood to make sure i got the led light level. It is not stiff enough to keep itself straight. it comes coiled up in a package. keeping it straight to attach the 3m adhesive to the truck was quite a challenge. hence the wood pieces to use as a guideline. If you have a ram. to get the light in the best possible spot. you will have to remove a grommet that protects the edges of the spare tire access hole. its still accessible, but be careful using it, as the light bar will cover it a bit. also i bought the 60" for my 2014 ram 1500. while it fits fine and looks good. a few inches off would have been better. The ram has some panel lines the light bar has to bend over on the ends. this causes a small gap on each end to where the 3m tape is not making contact with the metal. I put some clear caulk in the gaps as well as all along the top and ends. This however did not stop some water from somehow getting into the bar. after going through an automatic car wash, i noticed a small amount of condensation, on the drivers side. it has since dissipated. We have had very heavy rain the last couple of days. no issues with that. just seems to be high powered sprays directly at the light bar. i suspect that it isnt completely air tight between the black plastic base and the clear housing for the leds. Im gonna put more clear caulk over the whole thing to be on the safe side. as for functionality it works great. leds are nice and brights. easily seen during the day, but nighttime, obviously is where it shines. ive got tons of compliments.

Says compatible with F150. 2016 need hard wire to taillight
I am pretty happy with this. I put it on my 2016 F150 Platinum. I like the fact that it comes with the tape for the entire light strip rather than simply 4 spots. I also comes with self tapping screws and plastic hold downs that I have not used since I did not want to drill into my new truck. The tape should be enough. The installation was easy if you have enough help removing the tailgate. For the F150 there are a few bolts and some sort of bar in the way for trucks that have the step in the tailgate. Some folks on the forums have removed this successfully without issues. I simply flexed this strip over the bolts rather than remove them. I also plugged this into the trailer wiring in back and tapped the reverse lights there, however this cause the truck to think a trailer was connected and it disabled the blind spot detection and reverse sensors all the time. I had to move the wiring over to the tail light. Since these are really only truck specific issues (All people installing them have this issue regardless of the strip used) I still gave this 5 stars. I had purchased a Y adapter for the trailer wiring which I will now never use based on Amazon's recommendation. This is what I get for being impatient. When installing test the unit first to make sure it works properly, then make sure you put the wiring on the drivers side or you will have to wire it up with left/right reversed. The flexibility on this goes two ways, it means you can make install the unit crooked/wavy which you can prevent, but it also means you can do what I did and go over some bolts that may be in the way without having to have one side stick out.The instructions were not that great, but there are more than enough videos online for how to install these things. I would suggest some in-line wire taps to hardwire (NOT to the trailer wiring harness on the new F150s).I do wish the unit had the lights a bit closer together, but for the price this is good. Maybe I will upgrade later if I feel the need, but the looks of this are working well for me.

Quality and build seem good. Purchased my own 3m tape, theirs did NOT STICK to my truck paint????
Update: May 2017 Good quality, just dont let anything like a rock, or tool slip between the lower edge of the tailgate and truck frame, or it will crush the light if thats where you mount it like most do. BUT, the product is good, and the seller stands behind it, even though it was MY fault they gave me a full refund !!!!!Update: 2016- Months ago only one side about 6" is displaying. I think that something in the tailgate may have wedged (again, 2nd one) and .... Wont be trying a third one.Quality and build seem good. Used the RAMPAGE HARD stick type for 2.5 years and the leds started going out, a few every few months ! Bought two of these , one for a hitch carrier, and the other for the bottom under the tailgate of the Tundra Crewmax, replacing the rampage brand one. So far looks good, all lights work fine. I had NO PROBLEM sticking it on STRAIGHT across just winging it with the eye. 3m tape DID NOT stick to the truck paint???? I bought an $8. roll of 3m double side tape, 1 " (yes a bit wide for this), and put that on car, then put the light strip on (still using their attached 3M , sticking it to my 3m which it did well. Since my 3m tape stuck to car, and the product 3m tape stuck to mine, so far so good. Will update if any problems.

Nice effect
Nice safety light bar for pickups. 3M tape doesn't stick great, but comes with plastic holders for strip. Looks fantastic when lit. directionals work great. People will notice your turns, and clear reverse is an added feature.

Tailgate lights
The product i very good but the anhesion is not. Had to buy adhesion tape to set up the product. Other than that issue they work great.

Works as described.
Works as described. About as bright as expected. Not that noticeable during the day, but bright enough at night.

Awesome product and price.
I bought this to replace my previous one (different brand), that partially stopped working. Easy to install with screw clips to ensure you are not relying just on the 3m tape. Nice and bright. Hopefully this lasts.
