My son loved it!
My son is 9 years old, and hates reading, even though he doesn't actually struggle. These books are a little below his reading level, but I wanted him to be encouraged to start reading on his own. He loved the first book in the series so much that I had to buy him the whole series, and he read them all without prompting. That deserves 5 stars from me!

We love the LUCY series! This one was really cute- even for families that aren’t necessarily crazy about soccer. Cute story!

My Grands get a book in the mail every month from me. The exclusive Nonnie Book of the Month Club! My 6 yr. old for the first time told me I just had to send her all the Lucy books. She has loved them and can read them herself (with a little help).

My boys love this book
My boys love the whole series but especially this book becaus Lucy plays soccer. My boys love dogs and soccer so it was a great fit for them. They adore Lucy!
