Does not work with T-Mobile or AT&T on LTE.
Back Top camera out of Alignment. Phone does not look exactly as advertised. Feels like plastic, not glass. However the Device is beautiful to look at. Finger magnet however. Tried several GSM versions but service was โChoppyโ and only โEdgeโ no 4G -LTE. Iโm heart broken cause I love Huawei. โFaceโ & โFingerprintโ worked flawlessly and amazingly fast! The Battery was extremely impressive! Shame that there is no USA version. Big loss for me!

Not bad, especially for the current price
I've had this phone for 2 1/2 years now, and it's still going pretty strong. I paid ยฃ180 for it but it's sitting at about ยฃ90 which is mad, a bargain for that cheap. It's a decent low to mid range smartphone which does all the stuff you'd expect one to do- who needs a ยฃ1000 phone to look at Instagram and YouTube or whatever?? Anyway, the face recognition works well although I didn't use it, and the fingerprint scanner is only good if you don't use a phone case so I didn't bother with it either, always felt like a bit of a gimmick anyway really to me. The screen is large, bright and looks great, although the extra bit at the top seems like another gimmick to make it seem like a more expensive phone, a regular rectangular screen would have been fine. The few games I played run fine on this thing, it handles Minecraft PE perfectly well so no issues there but I never tried anything more CPU intensive that that. Camera is amazing in natural light, dreadful in practically every other application. I go to a lot of gigs try to take a few pics, but man they all look like crap with this camera. It's just not great at low light or with moving objects. Battery life is good, and is still good after 2.5 years which is surprising. I've not had a single thing replaced or repaired, so this is a well built phone. It crashes on occasion but hey, any phone does. The mistouch prevention thing is really annoying, as small an issue as it is, and most of Huaweis built in apps suck. Highly recommend a different music app because Huawei Music is a nightmare to use with the way it's laid out. It feels like I'm nitpicking a lot but it's because ive had the phone ages, it's a good beater phone that has done me very well and is still going strong. Can't go wrong for 90 quid

Very good value for money Android
After my secondhand Galaxy S5 had a screen failure I thought I'd treat myself to a new device. I did my research, which included conversing with my brother-in-law (who manages a high street Vodafone store), and settled on this phone as my best option for an Android device under ยฃ200. I've not been disappointed, as the features at this price-point are virtually impossible to beat. Aesthetics are subjective, but I think it absolutely looks the part. Of particular interest to me was a nice screen size and quality, which is a real strength of this phone. Also the metal chassis construction (rather than all plastic typical at this price-point and even commonly above) is nice, and overall the build-quality is top-notch. The camera is good but not great, but this wasn't a priority feature for me. The facial recognition is a little hit-or-miss, but this is no sort of problem as the fingerprint scanner is excellent. The speaker is passable at best, so you'll want to use a good set of ear/head phones. It doesn't come with too much bloatware on it, and my device updated from Android 8 to 9 within a few weeks of purchase. The Huawei EMUI OS will be absolutely no problem for anyone used to base Android OS packages. Overall I think this phone (barring any accidents on my part) will prove a great purchase for me for at least the next 3-4 years.

Excellent camera features, good battery this is what you call value for money.
Have used this phone for 4 days and I cannot give it any fault. For the price this phone is incredible and its a real shame about the ban from the USA as Google does not work that well however, the rear view camera takes amazing pictures, especially in portrait mode and I am contemplating whether to sell my SLR. Facial recognition is good but probably needs fine tuning as it does not work well when I am wearing my glasses but the phone is very light an smooth. It will be a difficult transition from the Cat S60 which, I did love to the core due to line of work I am in, but the honor is well worth the switch. Another plus point is the battery which lasts longer than average on medium usage however, like most phones the location services option will drain the battery considerably. I noticed this on the first day using Google music with and without location services. After a few hours it dropped a few percent, compared to switched it where it dropped almost by 5 times that amount. For ยฃ200 this is a very decent phone which I question what the iPhone and Samsung can offer me more for an extra ยฃ500, That's equivalent to a holiday to mainland Europe.

Good product however...
Big screen, great battery life, great camera, and a good price, however coming from a Samsung S5 phone I have a few things to say; The first thing about this phone is that the control buttons at the bottom for going back and the task manager are reversed compared to the Samsung S5. If you are right handed like me this may be an issue for you too because I have to uncomfortably over-extend my thumb in order to go back or use my other hand. I often catch the other control buttons (home and task manager) while trying to press the back button, and sometimes while typing on the keyboard. I think the areas the control buttons 'take up' are a bit too big, but I suppose that could just be my fat fingers, and not being used to the phone yet. The second thing about this phone is that it takes a very short time of holding the home button (middle button) before the assistant app opens. For some people that will not be a bad thing, but for me personally I have to consciously make sure I do not hold the home button for more than about half a second which is just annoying. Again it seems the buttons are bit too big/oversensitive for my tastes, but this is subjective as some people like this. You can, of course, turn the assistant off completely within the settings menus which means that this is a non-issue if you don't want the assistant at all. The final and probably most important thing that I will say about this phone is that the speakers (the ones used for ringtones, notifications, music, and voice calls) are of really poor quality. The speakers are far too tinny sounding and have no bass at all. At the higher volume settings (over 3/4 of the bar) the speakers begin to clip and just sound horrible. I rarely use my phone for playing music out loud, but my ringtones, message notifications, and whenever I use the speakerphone on a voice call always sound awful especially when compared to my old Samsung S5. In conclusion this phone is great for the price, but the speakers are very disappointing and drag the score down.

Very much Like a ยฃ1000 phone!
What an amazing phone for a tiny price. Starting how light the whole phone is for the size of it. I did think the phone was going to be oversize but it seems to be just about right. The screen is a real joy to look at, very crisp n clear. Battery life seem to be good, I've only charged it once and after 24 hours it's down to 39% with a whole day of messing with it as its new. The sound from the loud speaker is OK as is the ear speaker but, I have heard better. Bluetooth works fine in the car. All the normal apps work just fine and dandy. I'm running a Vodafone and o2 sim and both pick up good signal also you can set what sim does what data, text and calls. But the best thing is the face recognition entry, it's super lighting fast and you don't have to swipe, it just opens when it sees your face (if that's how u have set it up). The finger print sensor is also super fast too. The phone also comes with the screen protector factory fitted and a clear soft case that wraps around to protect the edge and back. This phone seems to lift a few eyebrows when I tell them how much it cost. Sum up, I think Huawei are only going to get more and more popular as the Huawei phones do the same, if not more, as phones 5 times the price. You won't be disappointed ***** Update I've had the phone for a couple of months now and still very pleased with it. I get 2 days battery life from a full overnight charge. I've been streaming BBC sounds onto my Bluetooth speaker all day long and still got 77% left!! Amazing phone
