I bought this to add to the ProtoFab Bronco rear bumper tire carrier I have. I bought this piece and another similar one (https://www.amazon.com/Innovative-Components-AI1-2-1-5-BB3-included/dp/B00GAZQE1S/ ) because I wasn't sure which one I wanted. This one has a tapered tip and t handle where the other has a 1/2 straight tip and round knob. All of the pieces swap between the two items; handles and plungers interchange and the weld on bodies are the same. Quality is great on both. The threaded male piece looks like plastic in the product picture, but is really a black oxide looking metal. Other than the thread on plastic handle, the entire product is made of metal and is very stout. The plastic handles have been secured with red loctite, but are removable with some effort. Better product pictures would have helped me buy this product so I have included some here to hopefully help someone.

Works exactly as desired for my homemade tire carrier. I use it to keep the carrier latched open on a hill. Has a small amount of play in it, so I wouldn't use it to keep it closed, but works great. Barrel welded right on, if it wears out in ten years I can replace the handle and spring (they unscrew)

I got two of these for $7.17 each. I needed to replace a pair that go on my rear bumper swing out arms. This item has fine threads under the weld on body. I needed coarse but was able to swap pieces to make it work. Red locktite under the handles. All metal minus the handle, these are a good deal.

The design is easy to work with and make having pins to hold items secure useless. The handles for pulling on the other hand is strong but does not hold up to abuse from large handed personnel. I will still order these as they work in 90% of my designs and ideas.

Welded up nicely and works great for my tire carrier. The picture is a little different than the actual product though. The actual product has more of a taper on the pin--the picture makes it look more squared than it is.

These are very nicely machined.... The tip is tapered and it is made of steel. Great price for industrial quality fixture pins. I am very pleased with this purchase and will definitely purchase from this seller again.
