OXO Large Upright Sweep Set, Off-white, 8.5" - 12"

This is an outstanding broom set. The head is firmly attached so no swiveling or tightening needed. The bristles are superb because they have a feathery coating on the lower part of the bristle, which snags hair and dust more efficiently. It is more money, but much better quality. I bought this several years ago and it is still going strong. Sweeps well and dust goes into the pan well. Broom attaches to pan and stands up well. The broom handle is telescoping. Does not have to have additional poles to add on. I bought a cheaper version of another brand and was disappointed. I now have two of these OXO brooms. One upstairs and one downstairs. Love them!

Great broom and dustpan!! Gave this as house warming gift and they love it!! High quality, works great. Little pricey but as a gift it was worth it.

I watched the videos about this set before purchasing and that helped me decide to buy the OXO set. It is easy to use, stand on its own for storage and I like having the option of lengthening the handle on the broom. I also like not having to bend down to sweep debris into the pan. It is a little bit heavy that attests to how well made it is and should last. It is easy to empty the pan contents into the wastebasket and easy also to wipe the pan out to keep it clean. The "comb" that helps remove debris from the brush is very useful.

I was somewhat hesitant to spend $30 on a broom and shovel. Despite my misgivings, I really needed a good sweep set because all the ones I had been buying were always bad in some way: Either the brooms were too short and I got a backache using it, or the dustpan wasn't level with the floor and debris slid underneath it. However, seeing as this was made by Oxo (I'm a huge fan of their kitchen gadgets) I figured I'd just take the plunge. It was a great decision. I love this set! The broom has an extendable handle, which is great because I'm tall. No, the extended handle isn't terribly thick or sturdy, but it doesn't really need to be to serve its purpose. The best part of this set is the dustpan, which not only is nice, large and level with the ground, but the top comb to clean the broom is ingenious! If I only have one gripe, it's that I wish the comb had denser, closer together bristles. I think it would help get the dust bunnies out even more. That aside, however, this is exactly the kind of set I've been needing and I found it worth the extra money.

Excellent light grey color and silver-aluminum works well in the kitchen, and made this purchase viable given the unusable colors of hi-viz yellow, safety orange, red, or black brooms so many offer. The orange trim details are tolerable but I'd rather see OXO offer this with a similarly subtle blue or green trim. Excellent build quality and function--when it arrives, you should check that the dustpan's edge is straight and flat as reviews show there have been wavy-edged dustpans delivered. Mine was straight and proper so maybe OXO has worked this out better. In general I find OXO to be the high quality leader in small kitchen tools. I seldom prefer OXO's electrical appliances, but they're the best for kitchen tools like drainboards, brooms, tools. This OXO broom/dustpan is no exception in that the aluminum shafts have top quality finish with good handle and fixture details; the broom is full and feathered and easy to use with a smaller size that is perfect for the one-handed use I have for it. The broom / dustpan combination is a pleasure to use and actually makes me want to do the little chores this is for. check the labels for how to tighten the adjustable shaft at your desired length, but be patient if it doesn't tighten right away. At first I thought mine wouldn't tighten and would need to be returned but as I worked with it I found the threads engaged and it tightened solidly. I use its shortest setting which is perfect. I was looking for a mid-sized / shorter broom that was easy to use one-handed with a dustpan held by the other hand. I'm 5'11" so not in need of a short broom generally, but sweeping one-handed with a full height broom doesn't work for me. The smaller broom fits easily into the dustpan for storage without harming bristles; the dustpan clicks to stay open as you move from small mess to mess sweeping with one hand into the dustpan held with the other hand for the most efficient quickest cleanup use; then the two shafts click together for the easiest storage in a narrow space while the excellent colors mean it can be stored visibly and not have to be hidden in a closet. Really it's perfect.

I love this set! I first thought it was too small, but it ends up being more helpful getting in to corners. It’s great at picking up dog hair!!! It is sturdy and I love the telescoping handle. The dust pan stays in place yet folds up and down easily. The rubber on the edge of the dustpan reaches all the way across the pan. The comb at the top of the pan works great at getting the broom cleaned off. It may seem a bit pricy but I’ve tried a few and it stand above those others I’ve tried. Plus, it’s OXO! They just make great products and stand behind them!

I like several things about this broom and dustpan set, but there are a couple design details worth knowing before you buy. Pros: • The bristles pick up dirt well without flinging debris everywhere. • The dustpan is deep, so what you sweep up actually stays in the pan. • Both handles are a comfortable height, and the broom handle is easily adjustable. • The dustpan handle is surprisingly comfortable to hold, which is a nice design touch. Cons: • The set is smaller than a typical broom and dustpan. The broom head is only 9 inches wide, while most standard brooms are closer to 12 inches, so it covers less area with each sweep. • The clip where the broom attaches to the dustpan isn’t adjustable and sits slightly too low. You have to bend slightly to clip the broom in, which defeats the purpose of an upright set that’s meant to be used while standing fully upright. Best for: Small spaces, apartments, quick cleanups, or keeping in a laundry room or closet. May not be ideal for: Sweeping larger areas where a full-size broom would cover more ground. Overall: It’s a well-made set with good bristles and a deep dustpan, but the smaller broom head and low attachment point make it slightly less convenient than I expected.

Ich habe dieses Kehrset zum ersten mal 2017 gekauft, und seither im Einsatz um die Straßenrinne von Schmutz und Laub zu befreien. So weit ich das beurteilen kann, ist noch nicht eine Borste aufgefallen, das Teil ist absolut robust, langlebig und super praktisch, weil eben kein unnötiges bücken mehr! Habe mir jetzt ein weiteres Set für die Wohnung bestellt, und frage mich, warum ich das nicht längst getan habe. Ja, es ist etwas teuerer als andere Kehrsets, aber wirklich jeden Cent wert! Und den JoP-Shop kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen, sehr freundlich, rasend schnelle Lieferung und sehr gute und sichere Verpackung des Artikels. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Estoy muy contenta con mi compra, esta escoba me ha facilitado mucho el trabajo, es ligera, fácil de manejar, entra en cualquier rincón y arrastra muy bien la basura. No se le adhieren los pelos tanto como a mi antigua escoba que era más gruesa. El recogedor también es muy práctico, no se voltea, se aplana bien sobre el piso para poder recoger todo el polvo. La escoba se mete en el recogedor para guardarlos y ocupan muy poco espacio. Ambos artículos se ven de buena calidad y resistentes. Son caros, pero valen la pena.

Very dense broom and makes it easy to sweep. The pan is perfect with the silicone tip so that it collects everything you sweep up. And for hairs the bristles clear them without you having to pull. There are many look allies but I suggest you the original Oxo

La verdad que yo estoy encantado con el recogerdor y el cepillo, más con el cepillo que con el recogedor porque si que parece que atrae el polvo pero he de decir que con el tiempo parece ser que menos así que mi grado de satisfacción va en aumento. El cepillo tiene las cerdas duras y largas por lo que llega a la esquinas y rinconcitos que antes no podía llegar. Contentísimo con la compra.
