Sometimes a book takes you back to a situation that you have been in yourself. It is always interesting to see how someone else handled a similar situation. Going back to a hometown must be a very comforting place to be. Isn't it nice that most of us have a Mom to fall back on.

Great Start to a New Series
Ms Gregory has written us another sweet romantic story about two people living in a fictious town named Lonesome Way. She writes in such a way that you find yourself living among the characters as if the place actually existed! The story revolves around the lives of Rafe Tanner and Sophie McPhee. Both have been hurt by former spouses but love developes betweem them despite them trying to deny any attraction for each other. They have know each other from childhood but Rafe being older thought of Sophie as a tagalong. Time has changed her into a lovely grown woman who has sworn off of men but Rafe is out to change her mind. You will find yourself caught up in their romance so much so that you will not want to put the book down!I enjoyed the book so much and have started on the second book in this series!! If only I could find a small town with caring residents such as Lonesome Way, Montana!

Sage Creek by Jill Gregory
Sage Creek was written in my favorite genre of contemporary romance and kept me reading from the first page to the last. Jill Gregory kept her story flowing with description, detail and emotion. I felt as though I was working alongside Sophie in her "Bun in the Oven" Bakery and Cafe. I fell in love with Rafe, right along with Sophie in this wonderful contemporary romance. At times I thought I was cracking up, when I almost picked up my phone to call Sophie, thinking she was actually a good friend of mine! LOL - Wonderful writing, Jill. I look forward to reading "Larkspur Road", Book 2 in her "Lonesome Way" series!

On my favorites shelf of all time!
This was my first by Ms. Gregory but won't be my last. I loved this story! I loved the town, I loved the story, I loved the buisness BUN IN THE OVEN! There was romance and some danger. Humorous things here and there tied it all together. And one aspect of this that I loved so much is there were so many people in this town that I want to know more about. I can see some many possible storylines in the future that will keep me checking release dates in the future!

Sapphire necklace
I received a necklace today Christmas Day, 2022 as a gift. This piece of jewelry is so unique and so beautiful and I was incredibly touched to have received it. The quality is excellent and the fact that the gemstone is so unique made it even more of a valuable gift to me. Truly, an outstanding gift all the way around!
