I used it to recork my Bb clarinet mouthpiece-to-barrel cork. It was a little difficult getting the exact length cut right. WE took a heavy rolling pin and rolled the cork to stretch the width and flatten the thickness, to fit in the clarinets groove better. It worked just fine.

These only fit 3 of the joints on a Bb clarinet. It's about 3/8's of an inch too short to wrap around the lower joint. (I ended up having to buy a sheet of cork and cutting the strips by hand. The sheet I bought was a better quality of cork than these.) I haven't used the key pads yet but they appear to be the right size when I compare them to what is on the clarinet. It's a good value with the key pads and the little sack to store it all in, but the cork strips just aren't long enough for the lower joint.

You never know when a pad or cork is going to give up on you- this is in my repair kit that I bring to all gigs and rehearsals. Haven’t had to use it yet thank goodness!

So I bought this for my new-to-me Bundy clarinet from probably the 60's or 70s. It's a student model, and not exactly the handcrafted Stradivarius of the clarinet world, so I figure it should be easy to get parts for. Unfortunately, the pads are rock hard and I had to heavily modify them to make them work at all. They all weren't a great fit either, but most were the correct diameter. The cork is almost absolutely useless. Others are right, look for a sheet you can cut yourself. These don't even wrap all the way around, and they're like five times thicker than they should be. What on earth clarinet takes this cork??? I think they just got cork from somewhere else and threw it in. Would not recommend.

Not a single pad nor cork is the correct size for any clarinet I have tried them on. Pads are especially bad. Simultaneously to wide and too thick.

I mainly purchased for the pads, and they fit perfectly, exactly what I needed. Similar quality to what's already on my clarinet so that works well.
