In my first use, I sealed a 5 gallon mylar bag of rice in a five gallon plastic pail, after getting the right heat setting for the mylar and doing a rather good job of sealing (if i must say so myself), I found I had not gotten all the air out nearly as good as I thought. I had a rather large amount of air puffing up the top of the bag. I put it aside and decided that I would re-pack it later.....well when i opened the pail two days later to re=pack the rice, the mylar bag was sucked in really tight around the rice....fantastic job from just one of these absorbers.
