Excellent quality dual trash bin with buttery smooth sliders. Installation is simple but I highly recommended pre-drilling the holes prior to screwing down the frame into the floor. Doing this will speed up the installation. Each bin fits a standard 13 gallon tall trash bag well, as pictured. The frame securely holds the bag so they won’t slide off and bins are easy to remove. Make sure to check your measurements and the size of this product and set your expectations accordingly. Each bin is pretty small, so I wouldn’t recommend this for households larger than 2 people. The price is steep but the 5 year warranty helps me feel at ease if the sliding track ever manages to break.

This pull-out dual has made such a difference in my kitchen. The install took seconds and four screws.The build quality feels superior and sturdy. It’s a simple upgrade that makes everyday use much more convenient.I highly recommend it!!

I’m super excited to have this set up. It’s concealed to keep the smell minimized and it’s not out in the open for my cats to invade. It’s still centrally located so it’s very convenient. It’s easy to install but I needed a drill. The cabinet materials won’t let you go into it without pre drilled holes. I also used a screwdriver, measuring tape and impact drill. It came with simple instructions. No bags included which is a bummer. You’ll need to get them separately with this order. I also wish they offered a one can replacement for these two because changing 2 specialty size bags might get annoying over time. Great value for the money. Sturdy and performs well after a few operating tests. Fits my standard size cabinet that has an outlet box protruding into it with no problem. It doesn’t touch. Highly recommend this product !

I live in a one-bedroom apartment, so I was very happy to find an under-the-sink design that included both trash and recycling. The compact design means I can still use the other side of my under-the-sink area for much needed storage. The unit pulls out smoothly every time. It was very simple to install using a drill, and I imagine you could even use push-pins, duct tape, or command strips if you don't have one. This product works great for our household, but I'm not sure it'll work for everyone. If you're thinking about purchasing this item, here are some points you should definitely consider:1. As other buyers have mentioned, these cans do not fit standard trash bags. You will need to purchase their custom-fit liners which are a bit pricier. I live with my boyfriend and we need to take recycling out once a day. If we had children (we do not), I imagine we'd need to do so multiple times in one day.3. We use recycling WAY more than we use trash. The picture does not very clearly show that the recycling bin IS smaller than the trash. I really wish they made a model with the same size bins, or possibly a bigger recycling bin. You could always use the black for recycling and the blue for trash, but we opted not to since it confuses guests.4. Although the pull-out piece (which holds the bins) can be separated from the track, it is VERY difficult to do using the tiny levers. It requires two people and often results in smooshed fingers. Now I opt to simply take the cans out when I need to clean the bottom of the cabinets, but this does make cleaning more difficult.If you live in a small apartment or dorm like I do then this product can be a real space saver for you. Otherwise, you'll want to consider the above points closely before deciding to purchase.

I hesitated for weeks on these because it felt ridiculous to spend $100 on trash cans, but i have 0 regrets! These fit so perfectly into my smaller under-sink cabinet. Installation was crazy easy and the included screws are the proper length as not to go all the way through a standard cabinet. These are super well made with smooth sliding action.

Best trash can I’ve owned, but I’d still wait for a sale.I have it installed under the sink cabinet so it’s out of the way and hidden. Installation can be a bit of a hassle if doing it alone. You need to drill the frames down to anchor it, so it helps to have someone to hold things.I didn’t buy the bags to fit the bins, but the normal trash bags I had are fine in it for now. At some point when I run out of normal trash bags, I’ll be looking for the ones that fit better in these bins.The rack is super smooth after installation. No sticking or friction.There’s no lid for these bins, so be aware that the trash might smell depending on what you throw out.I like the smaller volume because it makes me clean up sooner without letting things just pile and pile.

This roll out trash and recycling unit is just perfect for my RV. My base cabinets are relatively small, and this was one of the few trash/recycling roll out bins that would fit the space. Installation was a breeze (just make sure you measure accurately and check that the cabinet door opens and closes without impediment before screwing it in place). These bins slide smoothly and keep our trash neat and out of sight (and out of reach of our dogs). Very happy with this purchase.Just note that these bins are smaller than “normal” kitchen cans that take 13 gallon tall kitchen trash bags, but they are plenty big for 2 people. There are specially made bags to fit these bins, but they’re expensive and not usually stocked at major retailers. We tried 8 gallon bags, but they were too short. 10 gallon bags fit fine, but they’re much more expensive and not as readily available as the 13 gallon size, which is what we’re using. Drawstring bags work much better than self - tie bags, which tend to slip down into the bin. There are special rubber bands that can be purchased, but the 13 gallon drawstring bags work for us.

I like this garbage set, but I'm not in love with it.When we moved to a new home, my wife and I felt it would make ti easier to have a set of trash cans for our recyclables and composting. After researching solutions, we settled on an under-counter pull-out set of cans. As we looked around, we discovered that not only did Simplehuman offer a product, but unlike many of the competition they offered a set with a blue recycling can for easier identification. Woo hop!First, this garbage can is dead-simple to install and took me less than 5 minutes. Just remember to separate the stand from the track and it's easy. If you don't... expect it to take you about 2-minutes longer. Second, the unit slides out well and the track is well made, but the frame just feels a bit cheaper than I'm used to from other Simplehuman products, which is disappointing.We own many other Simplehuman products so this is the first time we've been anything other than amazed.But I also have a few other gripes. Why can't the two cans be the same size? Why are these cans such a short width? These cans look like little people in a large coat. In hindsight there are other pull-out cans that would have been a closer fit for our cabinets and our needs.I know the above may not sound like a good reason for a three-star review, but I have high expectations for Simplehuman and they just didn't meet our expectations. This is a solid DO NOT BUY from us.

After checking your cupboard is big enough to accept this bin, installation is a doddle. The smooth glide of the bin out from the cupboard is neat, and as it slides all the way out, you'll have no problem getting to the rear compartment to fill or empty it. The frame is quality stuff as are the bearings, and the bins fit neatly and seem plenty strong enough for long service. Sure it's a bin at the end of the day, but a lot of thought has been put into its design, there's a pull-handle to keep your hands clean, and it looks good.The bags that come with it are really easy to fit with the bins in-situ, but of course that's the long-term expensive part where the money is made. personally I think they're worth it for the ease of fitting and sturdiness, but my OH doesn't.
