AEM 50-1000 High Flow In-Tank Fuel Pump, Black, 4.055 x 1.535 x 1.535 inches

Bought this pump in 2017 and have been running it in my 2007 SAAB 9-3 Aero with the B284 engine for the past 3 years with no issues. Installed it myself in the driveway with hand tools. It was basically a drop in swap with the factory pump with 2 things to note: 1) You will need to get electrical tabs to connect to the the open wires on the AEM connector (or re-use the originals from the old pump if you are in a pinch which is not fun). 2) You must reuse the factory strainer filter as the supplied one doesn't fit properly. It's easy to clean out the old one so that's really a non-issue just something to note.

Was a direct replacement although skinnier in diameter. If you are going to solder onto existing posts ensure you have a good soldering iron to save you some frustration you plan to cut and splice its very easy to do. sits in stock cradle and was an easy swap. for a novice the difficulty level is 2.5 out of 5 wrenches. for someone familiar with electronics and taking things apart its a simple task to complete. Pump is extremely quiet and provides smooth fuel flow.

After 10 years of constant use... Mine is finally checking out.. Worth it . Put in 2016 and now Feb.2026 I am finally experiencing fuel pressure loss. I had changed my Fuel Regulator diaphragm 3 days a go after fuel loss , but now I am experiencing pressure loss again. Like I said 2016 , I think it exceeded its life . Thank You AEM for a great product.

These are probably the best fuel pumps in this price range. I've used them on 4 LS swaps in squarebody Chevrolet trucks. Yeah they're not a direct fit wahhhh, this is a universal fuel pump. It works makes great fuel pressure.

Installed this on my 02 wrx and the pump ended up being too tall so i had to do some bending to get it to fit. Wouldn't recommend to someone with little mechanical knowledge. Pump seems to be working properly as of day one will update if things go south.

If your tunning your car or simply want a more reliable fuel pump I would definitely recommend. DO NOT CHEAP OUT as this is a critical component for your car or truck. I went with this becuase my OEM pump broke and saw this as a chance to upgrade. You will need to make a little bit of adjustments to this since it was a little smaller tan oem but nothing to complicated. I would definetly recommend

This happen less than year. Tried reaching out but no response still. Car started losing rpm & pull over at gas station, heard a loud bang & car cut off. Check my aem regulator & now fuel pressure. Opened tank & saw this. Ran new wires & relays in my civic k20 build. Barely ran for 6 months. Have a Volt meter on car & was 13.7 to 14 so 1000% sure it was never a electrical issue. Got a dw pump & plugged straight in & started working. Pump quality & reliability is not the best.

Die Pumpe hat bei mir den Catch Tank auf über 60 Grad in we ihren Minuten aufgeheizt, dann hat sie die Arbeit eingestellt ich habe es Gottseidank bemerkt sonst währe mein Exote nun Schrott Ich gehe hier von Marken Betrug aus und habe nun eine Bosch genommen die ich auf Originalität überprüfen kann Also bloß die Finger weg
