Tiptree - Crystal Orange Marmalade, 6 x 340g

Lovely tangy marmalade

I have long been a fan of the Tiptree Tawny Orange Marmalade and had never tried any of their others. This one is bit more like a jelly than the Tawny and somewhat less bitter but still with a strong orange flavor and scent. Maybe it is my American taste buds, but I quite like it! Excellent!

Buonissima e un brand assolutamente infallibile, specialmente in questa combinazione di arance e mandarini che nella loro fusione generano un gusto del tutto particolare. Perfetta per una colazione che ti lascia un gusto da portarsi dietro tutto il giorno.

It is very sugary - in fact the sugar syrup is overflowing and the moment you open the bottle, the syrup flows out! Other marmalades have the sugar nicely blended in and I was quite disappointed with this!

This isn't going to become my go-to marmalade, but there are things I really like about it. A lot of marmalades are really thick. This has a very good texture, a little loose but not runny. I like the amount of peel in it. Don't get a really strong tangerine vibe from it, though, and it is sweeter than I like, though nothing like the nasty sweet national brands I find at the grocery store. I'd say it's very comparable to the Bonne Maman orange marmalade. I'm looking for something just like this, but more on the bitter side, so the search goes on...
