If you like black fingers, this is the box for you
For whatever reason, I was not offered the option to review the product, so I have to do a general review. This showed up the day. Looks pretty nice but the black finish rubs off on you and your cloths if you so much as touch the box. It's like a black motor oil on your fingers. With that said, I would not put anything nice in this for fear it would turn black, nor would I put it on carpet for the same fear. I didn't anyone else mention this. If they had, I would have thought twice. I'll find a place for it, just not what I intended to use it for. Given this, I think it was a little overpriced.

Doesn't even deserve a one star review
At almost $150 (with discount), this product is so poorly constructed and not worth the money. The box is very fragile (be careful even lifting it), the faux leather straps on the front are upside down, the stain does not look "distressed", just looks streaked and blochy, description indicates it is lockable, however, a toothpick cannot even pass through the hasp, the inside piece of wood is stapled and they were already pulling out even before I used it. I would not recommend this.

Very very cheaply built
The wood is so thin that should be used as a prop in a wrestling match. It looks cool sitting there but dont dare hit it by mistake with your foot because it will go straight through no lies. And it dirtied my hands taking it out the box, how that happened is a mystery. Not impressed but not totally unsatisfied. It should be atleast 50 bucks cheaper for this.

Satisfied with trunk
I am using the trunk to store blankets used in living room for movie nights. Holds about 6 blankets.

Treasure trove
This item is smaller than I expected (I am bad with measurements) but is quite deep and will hold a lot. It is actually very lightweight but well constructed. The color is exactly what I wanted and I am contemplating ordering another.

Overpriced for the quality
This trunk is very small and light. Only weighs 11 lbs. It's made of wood but very thin wood. It looks ok but WAY over priced. Shouldn't cost more than $40.
