Let me start by saying how AMAZING Amazon is! I ordered this item yesterday at 12PM yesterday. Within 22 hours, it is on my doorstep! I made use of the free prime offer I have (student perks!).About the liner - I bought the intense black. It looks like it's still wet even after it has dried - that is what gives it the intense color and non-matte, non-pencil liner finish. The applicator is easy to use and the felt tip is not very flexible which make it easy to apply from any angle. Seems to wash off with water and some rubbing but stays put otherwise. My only gripe is the amount of liquid is very less, that is, the size of the vial that holds the liner is small. I guess liner should be thrown out after a few months, thats why.Thanks Amazon, and thanks L'oreal!!!Update 01/27- This thing flakes off without your trace. If that's what you want (an eyeliner that does not have staying power) then buy this!

Rarely do I write reviews but this stuff is AMAZING. I generally spend a small fortune on my makeup but last Halloween was looking for some black eyeliner to complete my Halloween makeup, I didn't want to spend a small fortune given it was just for Halloween and headed to the drugstore where I purchased this. OH MY GOODNESS, I will never dismiss drugstore makeup again after this. Incredible. It is the perfect size tip for fine lines, stays on all day, great deep, dark black shade, and the tiny bottle lasts for MONTHS with daily use. It is my go to eyeliner now and also saves me a fortune when compared to my previous eyeliners which do not compare! Love it so much I always buy several at a time on amazon as I don't want to ever be without this stuff! Have finally perfected the cateye!

This is the easiest liquid eyeliner to apply! It used to be a Maybelline product, the Maybelline Liner Express Liquid Eyeliner Pen packaged with a blue handle and gold inkwell, but when they discontinued it years (a decade?!) ago, the beauty bloggers were raving about this as the new repackaged and rebranded felt tip eyeliner. Same formula, same stay-power, same deep colors, same felt tip, just bought out by L'Oreal.It can easily paint such a thin line that complete strangers ask me how I started my line so thin and so close to my lashes. It's the easiest felt tip to wing-out, and stays on all day. When it starts running out, the color is a little thin and needs another coat, but redrawing over a thin layer is easy breezy. I'm sure other makeup companies have come out with similar felt tips over the past decade since this has been available, but this has been my favorite for years.I used to experiment with higher-end brands, like if I brought the wrong color on a trip and had to scramble at Sephora for another eyeliner, but this is my trusted go-to. I always have the brown one, and this carbon black (slightly matte). Their Black Mica shade looks too shiny for me, like it's still wet or as if it has a coat of lacquer over it. Mascara looks too matte compared to the Black Mica, and the formula is a little off--it tends to crack or flake a little. Get the carbon black!Big fan of this stuff, even before L'Oreal bought it from Maybelline and repackaged it. Highly recommend. I've just recently started using liquid eye liner to help with how tired my eyes seemed to look by the end of the day. However, I've been having trouble with just making a nice thin line along my upper lid until I found this. I'm 50, not in my grunge days of my 20s or a super model with fantastic eyes. I saw a Youtuber's recommendation and I'm shocked that it worked just like it did with the young girl who posted it. Way more simple for these old hands than I ever thought. No more thick black line on top of my lid, just a simple outline that came out easily without going over and over it until it was black enough and making a drawing mess while doing it. Love love this liner!

This was my favorite liquid liner for YEARS. Great eyeliner for those starting out with liquid. The handle was easy to hold, felt tip was precise but easy to maneuver., black had great pigmentation. I'd tried more expensive brands, but always came back. In the past few years however, the quality on this eyeliner has been hit or miss. Some were as great as I'd remembered, but some would dry out fast, have poor pigmentation, or a floppy felt tip. I never understood how there were bad reviews on this eyeliner and I always bought in bulk whenever it went on sale, but I'm disappointed to say it's time to move on and re-try other brands.

I received this via UPS today the packaging was great it arrived on time but one huge problem! This eyeliner tube has NO product in it, the tube is literally either dried out because it does have that consistency after I can finally get some product on the wand, or has little to no product in it whatsoever I had to dip the want in there shake it and apply about 5-6 times before I got my desired look. Another defect with the quality of this product is that the wand dwipes off what has already dried on your eyes. I was completely frustrated and I dont know if this was a coincidence and maybe it was just my product that has these issues but be sure to check as soon as you get it in the mail that it doesn't wipe off the already dried product on your lid and that there's actually some product in the bottle to begin with. The wand itself is actually my kind of wand to for a perfect cat eye- eyeliner look. Very unfortunate. I will be returning this product unless I can get a replacement that is sure to work and not have all these issues.My picture are both showing a wand that I had pulled out of the tube and not used. There is t any product on it. The amount the does get on it however, get on the tip and eventually finished before you can even make 2 cm of a line.
