SAVARD Speakers Rap Series v2 12" D2 Ohm Subwoofer

This company is truly Audiophile experts.. Having been around since the early 90's with proven products that are proven quality and performance. Do not pass up a Savard speaker because of doubt, let me tell you, this is one of THE BEST speaker companies on the market PERIOD!! I have purchased 2 Savard Pro Series 12's and installed in a custom designed isobaric enclosure by Savard. This company is so excellent with customer service, when you purchase a sub or speaker, simply email them what sub you purchased and the size box you need and even the Hz you are trying to target, and they will email back blueprints for an enclosure to your specs that will absolutely, SLAM!!!!

Some flushing with the pre drilled holes so can be a little annoying taking the subs in and out constantly if you need to. Quality wise though I have Zero complaints, sounds amazing with proper tuning, and the price is not bad at all for beginner/Lower watt subs! Been using since the beginning of February and they’ve survived being Beaten on bad!! I mean 12.6 Volts of CLIPPING BAD. And the subs still pushed on!! Would 10/10 recommend for someone looking for a budget friendly but not quality compromising subs!

warranty subs sound great, had two rap 12s on d'amore 1500.1 dd1 and cc1 done no distortion ss set correctly. Box was built by professional who does a lot of savard boxes Protect light came on took subs out one sub both coils read 4.0 other sub 4.0 one coil .2 other sub. Texted about replacement sub or warranty told 100 plus shipping to get fixed on a 150 dollar sub then later told I could get 40 dollar recone told him don’t have time to do that his words u had time to take apart. Yes I did cut open I have a sick wife at home work full time and 54 acres to take care of. I have bought 8,10,12 raps and hi q 12s. 20-30 don’t even remember subs most just to give to kids and friends who can’t afford car audio as wells as my builds Even after buying boxes from Savard dealer Joey Ray who ripped me off almost 1100 for enclosures and never sent nothing I still stayed Savard and bought. Was all Savard late 90s when u had problem BILL made sure you were happy and customer service replace no problems. And went back soon as I heard they were back out. I have put post up and took down but this review is to be honest and staying up. No Savard itself didn’t rip me off on enclosures it was JOEY RAY from Louisiana who was a dealer and builder of some of owners builds. Glad owners/friends got what they paid for.

Wanted to try less wattage on this rap that made for less power handling than the hiq. It sounds amazing. Hits clean and low.

Absolutely worth every cent. Top notch build quality and efficiency plus an untouchable customer service department. I could not recommend this company more. I will be making multiple purchases from them in the near future.

I liked the company’s business model so I gave this woofer a shot and could not be more satisfied. Crisp response, accurate bass, and in my opinion a beautiful woofer. Also Savard’s customer support is as impressive as their products. Already purchased another one.

I was shocked to see the brand back up and going. When I was a teenager, I remember these but it was so hard to compete with Kicker and RF for car audio. I Knew a guy who did competetion...had 10 of these in his backseat. I also knew people with smaller setups and who used them for home audio....Hands down the best, most natural satisfying, smooth, low bass ive heard to date in a 12 inch car audio woofer...Ill be 47 in a couple of weeks..back then, the technolgy and mixing were nothing like it is today so to get loud distortion free deep base like that at high and low power was miraculous.....dont believe me? Play some OG bass tracks or Rap songs through your system and see if your subs can handle that without sounding like garbage.... Im not sure how they are made now but if they are anything like I remember....you wont regret it. Im replacing my system with these asap.
