This tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. It will clamp down onto any object that is round or with edges. And it won't cause any scratches or other damage when force is applied. It is easily adjustable and holds the adjustment during use. Jaws are separately available. Worth it.

These are some of the highest quality pliers I have ever used. They work perfectly for situations where I didn't want to mar or damage some kind of soft fastener head or connector, especially if it's plumbing pipes. The problem becomes at times that you can't get that extra strong torque to give a fully tight seal so I mostly use these to do the larger turning and then finish off with something that has those metal teeth and won't completely ruin the ability to address that fastener or connector again. It's high quality and has taken some abuse, so while it's pricey, it has a substantial amount of punishment and has not wavered.

Used this to loosen parts of a brass faucet that I didnt want to scratch. They were on very tight and it still got them off without damaging the finish.

Very cheaply made Japanese pliers. In fact all the writing on the package is Japanese. You couldn’t even understand anything about instructions not recommended. Very overpriced item. The package was damaged and their fire had looked like they’ve been used.

Well-made tool. Comes with a set of replacement jaws. Not mentioned in the Amazon write-up is that the tool will not close securely on anything smaller than about 3/4" (~20mm) in diameter. So if you're looking for a tool to work with small items, like some faucet aerators or tubing connectors, look elsewhere.

Discovered what I wanted to grip was smaller than jaws would go down to. Figured out a way to make work.

Love these pliers get the job and I use them regularly the spring return is a added bonus

I bought these to remove the spouts from our sinks without marring them - it works perfectly. I'm sure I will find other uses for these. Comes with two sets of jaws.
