Works in my GE Smart Water Filtration unit.
Tastes the same, and the water flows faster, causing bubbles. The water is not orifice controlled to reduce the bubbles in the water that comes out. It's half the price of the GE brand, and filters the same. The seals on the ends are not glued in place, so some Vasoline on them helps keep them on when changing them.

Good tasting water but cloudy for a couple of weeks.
Even though I ran water through it for 15 then later 10 minutes, the water was cloudy for a few weeks. It was just tiny air bubbles and they would settle out in a glass in a few minutes, but you couldn't serve it right after dispensing it.

Listing does not match packaging description. Quality appears to be poor, perhaps unhealthy.
Amazon listing states 0.5 Micron. Product packaging does not mention filtration particle size. Installed flow rate is much higher than removed .5 micron filter. This filter is installed after a whole house 20 micron filter. Water from the whole house filter in a clear glass is clear. Water from this filter is brown. Black indicates poor quality charcoal. Brown indicates something more nefarious. Water has a saline taste. I have removed the filter over health concerns.

Filters the junk out of my apple cider perfectly

Firstly I would like to say that the sellers response was excellent and immediate to refund my purchase although I had to pay $25 on postage to return the goods to seller. I wanted these replacement water filters to work out but you waste too much water (purging 10 or more gallons) before it becomes clear and not sure if the water is still good enough to drink. The water still tastes a little strange. After I get my refund I will pay a little more for hopefully a better result.
