Works awesome

Well it’s a filter and it does its job but it’s AC infinity so it looks pretty too. This thing is sturdy and easy to clean or swap out the filter material so it’s a huge plus over my last one. It has a good seal against my AC infinity fan and they’re both super quiet together. Helps keep the stank in the grow room to an acceptable level - solid product from AC infinity as always!

I upgraded my dust collector system to also have one port that was a fume extractor for welding. I upgraded the filter to a 0.2-micron Hepa filter, but I still needed a carbon filter to remove any VOCs So I thought I would give this a try. I must say I am impressed with how well this works! there is zero smoke in my airconditioned shop, even after welding for hours! Just for fun, I thought I would see how well the system would remove paint fumes... I have a cabinet I was working on, and so I turned on the system and sprayed lacquer on the cabinet, 4 coats. I left the system running for about an hour after I was done, because I was not spraying under my fume extraction hood, but I was halfway between the dust collector exhaust and the carbon filter, so the air had to get from one to the other and go right past my spray area. When I went back out to shut off the system, I was surprised that it did not smell like lacquer at all! Normally when I spray lacquer in my shop, even the next morning there is a strong smell of lacquer, it takes over 2 days to fully dissipate, but this filter removed all trace of it in less than an hour! I've used it to remove the lacquer fumes on several other occasions and it's worked very well each time. I'm really amazed at how well it removes the VOCs from the lacquer as well as the fumes created by welding. It's a great addition to my shop that allows me to work in air-conditioned comfort while also enjoying clean air.

Massive. I bought it with a matching ACI exhaust fan just to scrub the lung room when in there with the tent open. Ended up placing it inside the tent to help more from leakage. It has helped some but not nearly what I expected from nearly 800cfs and the size which comes with extra expense. It's been running a few weeks now so not sure on longevity. I will say my ACI carbon filters haven't lasted as long as I expected. The 6" that is feeding from tent to attic stopped filtering well after only 3 months in the same grow this is in now. I've had better lifespan from cheaper brands but like the build quality and ACI ecosystem (for most things). I'll eventually crack it open to see I can replace the carbon or have to grab a made to be refilled one.

Wow. I should have gone with AC Infinity brand gear from the get-go. I'm kicking myself for not buying AC Infinity initially. This carbon filter is real nice. Especially if you're used to the cheap Amazon brand ones, like iPower. Not only is it made ALOT nicer, I think it works better too. I don't know about how long it'll last, yet, but if I had to make a guess, I'll still be using this carbon filter in late 2026, if not longer than that. Arrived in good shape and super fast too. I cannot recommend AC Infinity brand stuff enough. If you're spending your money on the lower cost brands, you'll actually save money by only having to buy once, instead of multiple times in the same time period. So, plz, stop wasting your money on lower cost brands, like iPower. I promise you that you'll wind up spending less, over time, buying AC Infinity.

Very impressed, it's no longer built with rivets, but screws so you can rebuild it. The 6" was larger than I expected. You are getting about 7lbs of activated carbon for $70 (the Winix 5200 uses 1lb). I added a 6" inline fan for $30, and now it compares to an Austin Jr for 1/6th the price. Except the AC Infinity can be rebuilt with bulk carbon pellets for about $17. To replace the filter in your Winix will cost about $85, your Austin Jr @ $250, and your large Austin @ $400. Pretty happy!

Ich nutze den AC Infinity Aktivkohlefilter (100 mm) in meinem Growzelt und bin bisher sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck, alle Teile wirken robust und sauber verarbeitet. Der Filter ließ sich problemlos mit meinem Abluftsystem verbinden und war schnell montiert. Besonders überzeugt hat mich die Geruchsfilterung. Bereits nach kurzer Zeit waren außerhalb des Zeltes kaum noch Gerüche wahrnehmbar. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Luftzirkulation im Zelt sehr gut, sodass die Abluftleistung nicht spürbar beeinträchtigt wird. Positiv finde ich außerdem den mitgelieferten Vorfilter, der den Aktivkohlefilter zusätzlich schützt und die Lebensdauer verlängern soll. Auch die Aufhängung ist stabil und erleichtert die Installation im Zelt. Nach mehreren Wochen im Einsatz arbeitet der Filter weiterhin zuverlässig und ohne Leistungseinbußen. Für alle, die eine effektive Geruchskontrolle in ihrem Growzelt suchen, ist dieser Aktivkohlefilter meiner Meinung nach eine sehr gute Wahl.
