Dettol Antibacterial Laundry Cleanser, Sensitive, 1.5 Litre, Pack of 8

I've been using this for over a year, I like that my clothes are not only smelling fresh and clean but are genuinely free from bacteria. Especially in a cool, quick wash. I'd reccomend everyone use this in the wash, great for bedding and towels, underwear etc but it can be used with everything. I've been buying it on subscription for about 6 months and always had the same quality as store bough, so I trust the seller.

Amazing product, I always purchase this. I use two caps and just a tiny tiny bit of fabric softener (my choice) into machine drawer and my washing smells amazing ! So soft and fresh and have the added reassurance it is also germ free. Great if your drying clothes indoors as it prevents any musty smells. I find the small bottle size are often better value and are easier to store.

I ordered this product for my daughter's Nursing School laundry. Her scrub pants are bright blue, and they are not especially easy to replace. The students are graded on their appearance as well, so those pants need to remain bright blue. Bleach is not a disinfectant option. The Lysol or Pine Sol disinfectants that are available in the U. S. market irritate my daughter's skin, and make it uncomfortable for her to do her clinical work. Enter Dettol. Thank God in Heaven for my friends who have lived in the U. K., as they introduced me to this wonderful product. It cleans beyond my expectations, and it leaves the front-loading HE washer smelling like new. The price would surely be better if this product was available domestically. The shipping was prompt, too. Now of course one ought to be laundering Nursing scrubs separately, and I've never been one to mix the family laundry. Everyone's clothing is washed separately in my home. I really wonder about OTHER medical professionals' clothing now. If it can't be bleached, how clean is it really? Thank you Dettol and Amazon UK.

There's definitely a difference between using this and not: it seems to be particularly good with sports kits and similarly dirty/smelly stuff which come out even of a fairly short wash smelling clean and fresh. Some people don't like the fragrance and it isn't what I'd call lavender, but if you want something that will kill germs at a low temperature then this is the thing. You need to use two capfuls in the fabric softener drawer to achieve the heralded 99% of germs killed. Obviously that means you can't use fabric softener at the same time, unless it's built in to your detergent. I use a bottle a month, but a family of 4 would probably go through twice that and it's not cheap. For that reason, it's better used on certain things, such as sports clothes and children's stuff.

Second time I have bought it from here, so much cheaper than the supermarket. Now I have subscribed to the same amount each six months. I had a colostomy operation a year ago, leaving me with a Stoma and a permanent catheter. It has alleviated my medical problem, however accidents still happen!! with this product in the washing machine I can rest assured that these clothes are bacteria free and there is no cross contamination with the clothes of the rest of the family. Really important to me since I have a 5 year old grandson. Better still it works at 30 Celsius so I don't have to "Boil Wash" my clothes and ruin them. I really wish this had been about when my children were babies, for all those dirty nappies!! So it gives the trust back to mothers who want to use washable nappies again, thus being the Green & Save Cost Effective option....I would certainly recommend return to washable nappies....it is so much cheaper, and with product, you will know that the washing machine can guarantee to get rid of ALL the nasty bacteria! Therefore Very Highly recommended by me, and remember so much cheaper to buy in bulk!! : -)

excellent. I wash bedding and towels at 60oC anyway., but most daily clothes cant be washed higher then 40oC. some underwear is rated 30oC. since getting new washing machine that has no hot inlet (so its now FAR more expensive to heat to 60oC as the solar heaters took it to 55oC on its own) i cannot afford to keep doing high washes, and ive been getting a lot more ill since lowering the wash temperature (ive never caught viruses or flu etc until after changing the temp lower) Therefore i had to find something antibacterial for my clothes. bacteria and viruses die only above 60oC washes... i cant understand why clothes cant be made to go that high unless you get nurse/doctor outfits lol! it works out a few quid cheaper then supermarkets, but it stops the smell of softener.. even though this is unscented

I've only used this product once so far but I already really like it. Not all washing is able to be washed above 40 degree and having recently had a very bad sickness bug that may possibly be very contagious, I decided I wasn't going to take any chances. This seems to clean really well alongside my regular detergent and gets rid of any smells that it can't shift and my clothes both feel and smell really clean afterwards. It seems to be a bit hard to find in shops near me and this works out a lot cheaper in the long run then it does to buy a single bottle in my nearest supermarket that does stock it.

This cleanser is a must have if you are washing nursery clothes! Just a capful is enough to cleanse clothes, and have them smelling lovely and fresh in no time!
