My radiator leaking from the seam.  Slightly overheating.  Will this seal at the seam?

It should,depending on how big the leak/crack is,the one on my semi truck was dripping big,half a gallon a day,I was worried bc that s a $2,000.00 repair,I bought it not expecting any results,since I had previously used Bars leak (the small silver bottle) and didn t work,so this was a prayer and a last hope, 5,000 mls later and not a leak,not extra coolant added,it is liquid aluminum,so it bonds to wherever the leak is and forms a sealing coat...I think of it as welding from the inside...I hope it works for you as it did for me,it really was an answer to prayer...I know I m a bit dramatic but it was.PS,try to follow recommended amount or as close as recommended,not much less and not much more,I used 2 bottles on a 11 gal radiator.God bless.

can it be used in a Tahoe plastic tank

i used it in my volvo which has a plastic expansion tank and no problems. it won't fix big leaks but if you're losing just a little coolant over time and can't find the leak this is the stuff to use!

My volkswagen golf gti 2018 doesn’t have a radiator cap can i still put it in a coolant reservoir to seal my radiator leak?

If direct access to radiator is not available, install in overflow tank. Please ensure overflow is pressurized before adding.

DIRECTIONS

Allow engine to cool. Make sure engine is cool enough so radiator cap can be safely removed.
Shake well. Pour Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum directly into radiator. One bottle treats systems up to 4 gallons. Use 1/2 bottle in 3 and 4 cylinder engines. TIP: If direct access to radiator is not available, install in overflow tank.
Fill radiator and overflow tank to proper level and reinstall radiator cap.
Drive/idle engine for 15 to 20 minutes. If leak continues, second application may be required or mechanical attention is needed. For severe leaks, like a blown head gasket, it is recommended to use Bar’s Leaks Head Gasket Fix or Blown Head Gasket Repair.
Leave Bar’s Leaks Liquid Aluminum in cooling system for continued protection.

will this work on the head also?

Try it...it's inexpensive.  Whether it works depends on the specifics of your problem.  I tried it on a 4 cylinder BMW with a new head and profile gasket and a slow leak.  It worked great.
