It is hot here in the South already, and I love to sit on my back deck with the breeze from the fan. It makes all the difference in the world. You can direct the flow and speed easily. Rain has blown in on it (covered decks) but no harm at all to the fan. I am thinking of buying another one for the front deck. Moving air also deters mosquitos. That is worth every penny.

Love these babies. I own four. They purrrrr and move a lot of air around. Can be aimed upward to push warm air back down in the winter, or in any directed to cool a room in summer. The round design is softer and more beautiful than others. All around a wonderful fan.

We bought the same fan a couple of years ago on Amazon for our patio, it has worked so well that when one of our pedestal fans quit we replaced it with same fan. We have used the other one every day all summer long here in Arizona with no problems for the last two years. If it can hold up to 110 degree heat for months and not quit, that makes it a pretty good product in my opinion.

What an amazingly reliable piece of machinery. This thing ran literally 24-hours a day in a dusty environment for about 4.5 years before the bearing(s) started to fail. That's around 40,000 hours for those of you who don't have a calculator handy. I was able to swivel the head the opposite direction to squeeze an extra month out of it before those blades stopped churning, never to spin again. It's lightweight for its size, aesthetically pleasing and, based on the buy price, essentially costs $0.001 for every hour of life it gives you.

My last one survived all but a pair of movers who believed stacking the heaviest stuff on top made unpacking easier (I guess, because those guys wrecked everything). The FAN however is super quiet, moves a ton of air, because it's a big fan. Still small enough to fit in a window. Tough enough to be knocked around, dropped HOUSEHOLD use. If you want to use at a worksite, they sell metal ones which I can only guess would also be great.

Great fan! Super quiet, super powerful, love that it tilts basically to the floor and to the ceiling. The last one of these I had lasted 14 years before the motor burned out. I’m not even kidding. The last year or so it lost a lot of its power but still did what I needed it to do. Anyway, the price can be high on these but OMG I feel like it’s worth it.

These are the fans I have always used because they are durable and they provide great white noise. Great fan speeds and cooling performance. Every one i have had has lasted at least five years of 24/7 use. My alaskan malamutes with thick coats love these fans and they are very safe for animals and children!
