WARNING: This does NOT work with Square as advertised
It is not compatible with Square and if you plan on using this in conjunction with your Square POS you will find it quite useless.

WARNING!! NO INFRARED or IR!!
Seems like a nice, small packaged thermal printer. I did not plug it in, or attempt to use it in any way... Purchased to use with an Automotive Battery Testing Device (OTC 3169 / SABRE HP Heavy Duty) which requires an Infrared Printer to print testing results. The EARME Receipt product description includes IR & IRCOMM - so I thought this might work with the battery testing device to print testing results. However - since it has ZERO - absolutely NO infrared capability - it of course can't print using an infrared interface. So, I find the product description invalid and deceptive. Especially since the Instruction Manual for the Printer - states that IR & IRCOMM are OPTIONAL. So, I guess this option would require a slightly different printer model - so the 'optional' IR is ON the device.

Super easy to connect to your phone
Super easy to connect to your phone. I wanted an easy way to print cash receipts for my business and it works very well with a free app called "bluetooth print." The instructions that come with are not very easy to follow - I search for a youtube video but discovered there really isn't much you need to know.

Works as intended!
Use this to print receipts when i'm out in the field. This printer fits right in my pocket easy to carry. Connects to my Note 4 phone and i can make receipts where ever i need to it works well. (Note: pull off sticker from the battery for it to work.)

Doesn’t work with any app
Doesn’t work for any app other then their own and it can’t do anything but printer test paper.

Didn't include infrared (IR)
I bought this to use with a multimeter that can print to infrared-enabled receipt printers. Based on the description of this printer, I thought it had IR capabilities. However, when I took it out of the box it was obvious there was no such support. There's no infrared port, just mini-USB. What a waste of time.

Doesn't work on iOS
The product will ask you to download an iOS app then it says Congrats once you connect with it, after words, you can not use any POS system with it, probably android but not iOS.
