I finally narrowed it down to Marena Recovery. When I searched for a compression garment online I did run into Marena's website. I got a better view of the product. I really needed this garment asap so I went back to desertcart and searched for the exact product number as on their website-desertcart had it. The price was the same. I did need this within a couple of days so I did order from desertcart the SFBHS2, Short Leg No Closures, and glad I did. I received it within two days. The garment my dr gave was super uncomfortable and imprinted my skin, so while I waited for this one I used my high waisted high quality leggings. Once I received it, I did inspect it to make sure it was brand new, indeed it was. I ordered a Small, I do wear small in clothes. I wasn't sure if my measurements would be equal to my swollen belly. However, I took a chance and it was perfect. At this point I don't think I'll need to go down to the XS in a few weeks because it's nice and snug but we'll see. The key is knowing how to put it on. It may sound pretty straight forward but remember you have a swollen abdomen, tender, and needs healing. So that's where you want to put it on correctly. At first, it may seem the waist is small, but once you get above that it's all good. The thigh area is very comfortable; impressive. The straps were perfect as I am 5'3. I did adjust to longest length. Garment is very smooth, absolutely comfortable, evenly compresses your body without imprinting into your skin like the drs one. Material is soft and stretches, and breathable. The crotch area is pretty wide to pee, I personally will remove garment for the other use of the bathroom so at least you don't have to worry about wetting your garment in trying to remove it or unbuckle it. There are no clips, no zippers, you pull up the garment to put it on and pull it down to remove it. Do your research, everybody's body is shaped differently, and do go by the measurements. My waist is 26, rather than going with a XS because it ends with wait 26 I went with the Small starting at waist 26 to be on the safe side. I bought one in the past and it is perfect. This project was perfect also. It was not the size I wanted but otherwise perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good compression but uncomfortable strap placement *by A***C on July 18, 2025* I used these post surgery for my compression garments. It has great compression but the placement of the shoulder straps is too wide and cuts into my underarms. Maybe this doesn't happen for others but I have to wear the garment without the straps and let it hang just below the breast. It made my first few weeks of wearing it quite uncomfortable while I was at my most swollen. My swelling has gone down but the placement of them still digs in. I found another garment by the same brand that is just the legs and waist with no straps and have started using that instead. The crotch opening is wide enough to make using the bathroom easy enough. I'm not sure if it's the fabric or the compression itself but my skin has had a bit of a reaction to it so I now use pieces of fabric between my skin and the garment to help. Again, not sure if that's everyone but just what I've been experiencing.
