I usually use it when my hair is straightened and looks too smooth. This spray adds that little bit of edge — texture, movement, and a relaxed, slightly messy look with character. I apply it a little away from the roots (not directly on them) and slightly on the length, but never on the ends. It creates a light rough texture, and that’s exactly what helps the hairstyle hold. Smooth hair doesn’t hold anything — but once you have this texture, you can shape your hair with your fingers and it stays that way. It’s not a hairspray that freezes everything. The hair stays alive and flexible, but you can still feel the product working. Even on the second or third day, I can just scrunch my hair a bit and restyle it easily — it still holds, even when it’s probably time to wash my hair.
