Live Tech 450 Watt Economic Series Power Supply Model PS450W (SMPS with 20+4 pin)

This SMPS is working perfectly as of now and I didn't receive a faulty piece.Packaging was compact, good and was handled well during transit condition, kudos to Amazon and Seller for that! Coupled it with a Frontech G31 DDR2 Motherboard and it worked like a charm. Do note that this smps won't support heavy gaming(PUBG, COD, Battlefield etc) or high end rendering tasks(Premier, Da Vinci Resolve), try Cooler Master/Corsair for that purpose. Lastly the SMPS cooler fan does makes some considerable whirring noise but I have noticed that after some time the sound dies out and becomes quiet, this may differ with others. So my verdict is if you want to make a cheap build for day to day tasks like web browsing, MS Office, Photoshop, listening to Music, binging on OTT's, just go for this smps blindly.

I bought this SMPS for a DIY project. At first I was not sure if this product would be able to handle the amount of devices that will be connected with this and I was also curious about the product quality as well at this price point. After Using it for about two months this is my review. The packaging of the product was good and also the quality of the product is very good and sturdy. I have connected one Sony XAV AX1000 car head unit along with 2 JBL 4 Channel Amplifiers and 1 Monoblock JBL Amplifier. In addition to that I have connected a 12 meter multi color change led strip that is used for the interior lighting in my room. Have tested it by keeping everything ON for about 72 hours continuously and it still woks as a charm. This SMPS also comes with a power kill switch which can detect if there is any wrong wiring and the SMPS will not start in case it detectes any wrong wiring. The only drawback is that the fan is a bit louder than other expensive smps however if you are looking for something as cheap as this, It is the best product to go with.

I purchased it for my old PC. It is a good smps for old computers. Not for high quality tasks uses high power (gaming/editing purposes). It is ok for normal tasks (Listening music, internet surfing, typing at MS office etc). If your PC very old and if you don't play any game go for it.

Was using this with a MSI A320M Pro Max with Ryzen 5 3500 and GT 710 Graphics (It's not a gaming PC). One fine day (within 3months) there was no video display. I was scared and had to test with another PSU which worked fine. Don't use this with expensive products. It's not reliable n can blow up n take your expensive stuff out with it. I'm lucky only the PSU for damaged in my case.

Working well but the cooling fan's sound is a bit high, not so irritating but still...

Before for money. The fan speed and it's throughput is impressive
