RUSK Engineering W8less Professional 2000 Watt Dryer, 7 Speed Settings, Lightweight.

My previous Rusk hair dryer was heavy and did not have a removable screen but it was very powerful. When it died I decided to look at the newer Dyson style dryers but eventually found my way back to the traditionally shaped dryer. I ended up choosing this model because I am familiar with the name and it was advertised as being lightweight. First, it is much lighter which I really like. Second, I was worried the end attachment would not stay on properly since the first time I put it on it came right off. However, as long as it is attached firmly it stays on without any issue. I was pleased to find this model has a detachable screen you can clean. The buttons have a different feel to them and I think the less air switch has less power than my old one but the higher setting has a robust blow. I am happy I decided to go with this dryer.

I love this hair dryer! It works fast and is lightweight. The hot setting gets very hot, so I mainly use the medium setting. I use it with and without a diffuser. The air flow is excellent - lots of wind. The size is good with a very long cord. It’s worth the price.

The only reason i do not give it 5 stars is because of the nozzle. When you attach the nozzle is weird, seems that it does not stay firm. I Also like a narrower nozzle cause it seals the cuticule better. I had another nozzle from another hair dryer that i can attach so it works better for meIt has a good power and most importantly it is hot and i need that to close the cuticules and ends in a blow out. Is very light and i love that.

I've been buying them for years. They are ERGONOMICALLY designed which makes it so much easier to hold and manipulate. I won't buy a dryer that doesn't have the full compliment of low med high heat, low med high speed and a cold shot. I will say this thing gets too hot for it's own good and if you use it on high which is super hot all the time it may burn out in a couple of years. I dry on medium, use the hot when I want to put a bend somewhere and finish the dry with cool or cold which takes the frizz out of my ends and keeps me from over drying my hair and taking the life out of the products I use for root lift and texture.This is my third. I tried a bunch of drug store types in between and they are really terrible compared to this. This is also lightweight and you can hold it by the nose if you need to as it doesn't get hot.Love this thing. only reason I'm buying a new one is I dropped it in the toilet. Grrrrr. . . . . .

Great dryer

I selected this hairdryer on the recommendation of Wirecutter. I am disappointed. It is much heavier than I expected. I the controls on the handle get changed just by holding the dryer. I do not recommend it.
