Fits like it was made for my wrist — love the screenless concept!
I’ve been wearing the Fitbit Air for a few days now and I’m genuinely impressed with the overall experience. The band fits perfectly — snug but not tight, and the woven material feels soft against the skin all day long. No irritation, no discomfort, even overnight. What really won me over is how lightweight and minimal it feels. There’s no screen, no buttons — just pure health tracking that syncs everything to the Google Health app. At first I was skeptical about having no display, but honestly? It’s so freeing. No distractions, no urge to check notifications constantly. It tracks heart rate 24/7, SpO2, sleep stages, HRV, and even AFib alerts — all the essentials without the bulk of a smartwatch. Battery lasts up to 7 days, and the fast charge gives you a full day in just 5 minutes. However, one thing worth noting — the distance tracking during runs is not very accurate. I compared it with my running app and the numbers were noticeably off. This device is clearly designed for general wellness users, not serious athletes or runners who need precise distance data. If you’re training for a race or tracking pace seriously, you might want to look elsewhere — or at least wait for a firmware update that hopefully improves accuracy.Bottom line: Perfect for everyday health monitoring — sleep, heart rate, and general activity. Just don’t expect it to replace your GPS running watch anytime soon.

It's what I've been waiting for
This product is awesome, I don't know why they got rid of it in the first place but I'm glad that it is back. It does more that the original fitbit screenless tracker. It monitors sleep, activitiy, steps, heart rate, stairs etc. I'm glad that the app is free but has paid option if you want to get some coaching options etc. I prefer the free option. Price is good compared to the whoop which can be over $300 once you sign up for the mandatory membership. battery life hasn't been a problem since I charge when I shower or about to get wet. It is water proof but it's a great time for me to charge so I could wear it longer. Anyhow 100% charge is suppose to last about a week. It is slim and works great. The only negative is that google makes it hard to transfer info to apple health. There are free 3rd party app to do this but some had glitch issues, which made it useless. It kinda forces you to stick with google health. This was fine, but it would have been nice to use apple health seamlessly like before google bought fitbit.

An Excellent, Stylish, and Affordable Tracker!
Great fitness tracker for a great price—highly recommend! I’ve been using the Fitbit Air for a bit now, and it is easily one of the best trackers you can get for the price. Plus, it syncs flawlessly whether you use an iPhone or an Android. What I love:Super comfortable: It’s so lightweight and sleek that I easily wear it 24/7, even to sleep.Insane battery life: It easily lasts a full 7 to 8 days on a single charge, and it juices up incredibly fast.Very accurate: The heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and step counts are right on the money.Smart features that actually work: The auto-workout detection is seamless, calorie tracking is reliable, and the vibrating smart alarm is a game-changer for waking up peacefully.Easy to customize: Swapping out the straps to match my outfits takes seconds.A few things to note:The companion app can feel a bit clunky and needs some improvements. Luckily, Google updates it pretty often, so I expect it to get better soon. Just double-check availability if you want the Health Premium version, as it isn't accessible in every country yet.If you are looking for a reliable, stylish fitness tracker that won't break the bank, buy this one. You won't regret it!

The Ultimate Everyday Companion (Even for Die-Hard Garmin Users!)
I’ve been using the Fitbit Air paired with my Android device for a few weeks now, and it has completely nailed its spot on my wrist. It’s important to understand what this device is: it’s not trying to be a bulky, do-it-all GPS sports watch. Instead, it is the absolute perfect everyday companion to an existing fitnes watch like Garmin Fenix. The Standout Features:Featherlight Comfort: This thing is incredibly lightweight. The fit is so comfortable that I completely forget I'm wearing it, which is a massive plus for 24/7 wear.Stellar Battery Life: I don’t have to baby the battery at all. It easily goes the distance, making daily charging anxiety a thing of the past.Top-Tier Sleep Tracking: As expected from Fitbit, the sleep insights are phenomenal, accurate, and easy to digest on my Android app.Plays Nice with Garmin: This was the biggest win for me. It seamlessly blends in the information from other activities recorded on my Garmin. It doesn't fight my dedicated sports tracker; it complements it beautifully.Verdict:If you already have a heavy-duty tracker for your workouts but want something sleek, light, and comfortable for daily wellness and sleep tracking, the Fitbit Air is a masterclass in companion tech.

Good but not perfect.
Comparing the apple watch, I prefer the fitness and activity layout app. Also sometimes the band it doesn't record all the sleep circle (like one or twice a week). On the other hand is very confortable, small, thin and the autorecord activity I think it works really good. The battery life is also great comparing the apple watch. I my case, I would't change my watch for this.

Best Fitbit
Great tracker for basic steps, heart rate and sleep monitoring. The tracker is slim and comfortable also to use in bed. I have quite small wrist and I appreciate the small size of the sensor. I use it 24/7 and remove it only when showering. The battery lasts full week and the charging is very fast. Also, the blood oxygen level seems to work (I was just in Denver at one mile altitude over sea level, and the tracker detected lower oxygen saturation than normally). I use the tracker in my right hand, since I like to use a mechanical watch in my left hand, and it would be silly to have a watch with display in the other wrist. It is very nice, that this is just a band without distractions and does not bother you with buzzing etc like the smart watches do.

Best Wearable on the Market!
Overall this Fitbit is great. I’ve been using it for over a month now and have been quite pleased with it. Great value for the price and beats many of the other wearables on the market.Things I like:Price- For only a $100, this is great value for a wearable, many of the other competitors in the market like Whoop, Aura, and Ultrahuman cost hundreds of dollars and this provides the same health metrics for a fraction of the cost.No Subscription- This comes out of the box without needing to pay a monthly subscription. Huge selling point for long term usability.Design- I like the minimal design and thin profile on the wrist. Doesn’t look like you’re wearing an expensive device which is a huge plus for me.Extra Band- I love that this also comes with an extra active band to use for exercising. Especially helpful for me when I swim.Things I don’t like (some nitpicks):Cardio Load Measurement- The Fitbit Air will measure your cardio load after a recognized workout or physical activity. I found this measurement a little inconsistent. For example, I noticed a few instances where a 20 min light walk around the neighborhood would somehow register as a higher cardio load compared to a vigorous 40 swim workout where I was completely exhausted afterwards. Some of the readings may be off there.Touch Battery Indicator- According to the user guide, a double tap on the top of the band/puck should trigger the light indicator for the amount of charge left on the device. I found this mechanic to be a little faulty. Doesn’t always show the light indication on double taps and I find myself having to do it multiple times for the light to show up on the puck.“Ask Coach” assistant- Signed up for the free trial of the Coach assistant feature on the app. Chatting with the coach can be cumbersome sometimes. The Gemini AI model that Google uses for its responses are very slow and it takes a long time to get responses back from the AI.Google should use one of its more lightweight LLMs for this feature for a smoother experience.Sleeping- Depending on your sleeping position the Fitbit can be slightly uncomfortable and press against the top of your wrist. You may need to adjust your arm position to avoid this sometimes. Not a dealbreaker though.

Take Gemini With A Grain Of Salt
I've been a personal trainer for 9 years and have my B.S. in Kinesiology, so take my review as quite a critical one. My reasons for buying this were twofold - on one hand, I'm curious to see my readouts; on the other, I want to familiarize myself with this product space because lots of people, including many of my clients, use these. With that said, I have mixed thoughts. I appreciate its screenless design and long battery life, that it's small and light enough to functionally disappear after a few minutes of wearing it, and its competitive pricing. Without those going for it, I wouldn't have bought it.The data tracking is generally good, as you'd expect from Fitbit's tenure. The sleep tracking seems pretty on-par with how I feel the following day, and it's genuinely useful to know my heart rate, HRV, TDEE, and so forth. My issues lie with the app and the fact it forces you to be on the receiving end of pure dogwater advice from Gemini. I'm sorry, but AI is nowhere near ready to be a source of health advice. It reads too deeply into inconsequential details and fosters hyper-vigilance rather than educate users on how to regulate and maintain their self-expectations while maintaining consistency. For instance, if you sleep poorly, it tells you to take a rest day. I'm sorry, but no... a million times over, no no no no no. That is terrible advice, and Google should be ashamed for this. Maybe tell the user to temper their expectations for their performance that day, but you should absolutely encourage people to maintain consistency irrespective of their preparedness rather than encourage and promote procrastination. I don't know a single professional trainer or coach that disagrees with me here - PEOPLE DO NOT NEED MORE EXCUSES TO AVOID WORKING OUT.Gemini also keeps insisting that I need to keep tabs on my left knee that I had an ACL replacement on... 8 YEARS AGO. The app knows I have my Kinesiology degree, that I'm a trainer, that I'm of highly advanced overall fitness, and that I network with an extremely reputable sports PT in my area. It knows I am subjected to the best possible circumstances for dealing with an injury at all, let alone one that was resolved nearly a decade ago, and still insists that I need to be hyper-vigilant about it. If Gemini is telling ME this kind of stuff, I can only imagine what it's telling the general population.I could go on, but my conclusion is set: the prescriptive side of the device and app are terrible and need to be reworked or simply removed. Granted, these complaints pertain to all wearable trackers, because the software side of them tends to be lazily bloated with AI slop, but this device is part of that group, which is a shame. I could single-handedly improve it in so many ways, so I'm disheartened to see Google penny pinching their way into an app that nearly ruins the utility of the device. So I'm not sure whether I would recommend this to the average person or not. If you're already workout-savvy, this is a worthy device for some extra metrics and data. If you aren't, I would stay away from this product space entirely, because it will focus too much of your attention on things you shouldn't be concerned about. But if you can find a way to ignore the AI gobbledygook and just use this as a data tracker/compiler, then go for it. I certainly can't give it 5 or 4 stars, but it isn't deserving of a 1 either. I want to give it a 2, but I'll be nice and give it a 3. It's fine. It works. It's useful 60% of the time.
