GarlandCommercial Industries 1087696 VALVE TOP BURNER;

My garland stove is so old that there is not even a manual to be found. There was a valve fitting that broke and I spent years looking for a replacement. It's difficult to match through a photo and some companies wanted me to send the original , but I knew I'd never see it again if I did. This one was perfect! All I had to do was was take the end piece off the old one and It works perfectly.

I took a chance to order this stem based upon the one picture available- luckily it fit my old converted wolf stovetop.Garland is the parent company for a number of commercial products. As I said, this stem worked and I'm ordering another for my leaky valve next to the one I've already purchased!If you've got an older stove top model (mine's a table top, not a range) this may work. Use my photos for a better gauge!Be advised- you must still use your orifice from old stem SO DON'T THROW THAT AWAY!!

This valve is well made and is very easy to operate.

This thing leaked gas out of the part that twists, kept catching on fire. I'm pretty sure thats not supposed to happen
