Bgraamiens Puzzle-Mille Crepe Cake-1000 Pieces Rainbow Color Puzzle Color Challenge Jigsaw Puzzles for Adults and Kids

Mille Crepe Cake is a fun, colorful puzzle for anyone who can’t get enough color in their life! This is the second puzzle that I assembled by Bgraamiens, and I had a similar experience as I had with the first puzzle. The 1000 cardboard pieces are sturdy, there’s minimal puzzle dust, and I appreciate the way that the pieces only fit in one location. They have letters stamped on the backside (A-F) that can assist beginners with the sorting and the assembly process. I ignored the letters with my first puzzle, but decided to use them with this puzzle so that I could discuss their benefits. I separated the pieces into 6 different piles and then I started puzzling. I wanted to start with the blue layers on the bottom and work my way up, so I found all of the edge pieces for the letters E & F. The after putting them together, I pulled the pieces for the greenish blue layer. Looking at the letters on the back, I could determine the orientation of each piece, making it easier to find the exact piece needed for each space. I quickly found my rhythm and finished the blue layers in about 3 hours. The letter layout is easy to figure out because there are two letters for each row. Looking at the full puzzle image, the upper third starts with A on the left and B on the right. The middle third has the letter C pieces directly under the A section, and the D section is under the B’s. The bottom third has E on the left and F on the right. I simply kept pulling the pieces for each color band and oriented the pieces based on the letters, and then quickly filled in each layer. Before I knew it, I was finished with the puzzle, although I did move it to a bigger puzzle board before finishing because the completed dimensions are 24”x24”. The pieces fit together nicely, making it possible to move a completed section carefully into place as long as it wasn’t too large. There are a few pieces that are not completely interlocking, but it didn’t really impact the fun factor at all. I took a photo of some of these pieces to show you a side without a knob or hole. The puzzle is what I would consider a hybrid cut. It appears to be generally grid cut, but then there are some rare random/irregular cut shapes. Overall, I would recommend this puzzle as I found the experience to be fun and not very challenging if you use the letter sorting system and have good lighting. I took my finished puzzle photo outside to show off the colors in natural lighting, although my photo could not completely show off the puzzle in all its glory because it was a cloudy day. Still, the colors are more vibrant outside and I know that you will not be disappointed by the color saturation. With the lettering system, this puzzle would be great for puzzlers from beginners to experts. Being a fairly experienced puzzler, it took me approximately 7 hours from start to finish.

I have to agree with the prior reviewer. There is something about this puzzle that just makes you happy. The colors just pop and are such pretty shades. I was very excited when this one came in the mail and even more delighted to open the box to such beautiful pieces, glossy, thick, durable and so so colorful. This is a square puzzle. The pieces have a random cut to them. This is a type of color gradient puzzle such that you are working with pieces of slightly different shades and intensity of individual colors. Color gradient puzzles are HOT sellers right now. I've worked many of them. I love that this one allows you to work with such a beautiful rainbow of colors. The quality of this puzzle is quite good and this is one of several of the Bgrammiens puzzles that I think would make a very special gift for almost anyone. You can choose your difficulty level as the pieces are coded with letters on the back so it makes for easy sorting if you want to have a much easier puzzling experience. More advanced puzzlers will likely just ignore the letters and do their own sorting based on color or shape. This puzzle will provide hours of enjoyment.

I started working on this puzzle last night and have been disappointed by the quality -- many pieces are stuck together and when I pulled them apart the card board layers often split. also, the pieces are very oddly sized and shaped -- there are some that are tiny (like 1/3 inch) and then others that are giant. I don't mind some variation but not to the extreme in this puzzle. I wanted a color gradient puzzle to do so obviously got what I expected there but overall what I perceive as low quality pieces makes the puzzle less enjoyable to work with.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Fantastic quality, pieces lock together really well. The bottom half is really tough and the top half is smooth sailing. I enjoyed this puzzle very much.

This is a fun puzzle and a good challenge level, and it is a very good brand. The pieces are sturdy and a good medium thickness, they fit together very well, the colors are vivid, the lines are sharp, and there is very little puzzle dust.The puzzle has a letter system for a little extra help. The letters on the back (see pic) help you sort the pieces from A to F.I only recently discovered Bgraamiens puzzles and I am very happy with this brand. I plan to try some of their other puzzles too and I do recommend this brand for puzzle lovers.

Purchased this product after reading the above review, as well as many others. Never thought I'd review a puzzle - but EVERYTHING written above was true and correct!! I love this puzzle and bought another by the same co. even before I finished this one. The pieces are study; very little dust and only one piece that I would consider "bent." I love the different sizes and cuts of the pieces. I used the letters to organize and complete the puzzle .... it was like doing six smaller puzzles along with the satisfaction when you finish a section. Fun, beautiful and more than one way to complete. This made me happy cuz I've been doing alot of "regular" puzzles lately. Thank you for the quality!

This is the sturdiest puzzle I've ever had. High quality pieces that snap into place means it won't come apart easily while you're working on it. (See photo of the finished puzzle completely rolled up.)It's easier to complete than it looks, although the blue section was more of a challenge. You can increase the difficulty by doing the puzzle upside-down and following the letter guides, so it's kind of a 2-in-1.I'll definitely be looking for more puzzles by this company.

The puzzle is very pretty and arrived in great condition. However, when I finished the puzzle, I was missing one piece. I did the puzzle in the same spot start to finish. I have no kids that would have grabbed a puzzle piece from the table. There’s an email provided on the box to contact if you’re missing a puzzle piece. I emailed them twice in the past two weeks and never received a response.
