Light kit comes under separate delivery. No instruction or hardware as to how light kit gets installed. A lot of mistakes can happen that way. i am still trying to figure it our. There is no facility for light wires to come down one corner or other, so the garish wires end up marring what is otherwise an elegant display case. The instructions for case are totally by drawing examples, which can easily be misinterpreted. So proceed cautiously. I have no understanding why instructions for these things have ceased to include written guidelines. Are they trying to save paper? So, proceed with caution. ABSOLUTELY use two individuals to assemble this thing. The result is an attractive display case spoiled by no way to attach the light unit. We are still waiting for the lock unit to be delivered.

Takes 2 people to put together, but well worth it

Overall it's OK. The shelving is wobbly. And the door hardware such as the lock doesn't even go with it. The lock cannot be installed.

Box came all broken.

Came quickly, easy to assemble and all parts were included.

I wouldn't pay $150 + $62 for shipping for this. I paid $69 for it at IKEA. I thought it was easy to put together. I put it together by myself in less than an hour. It did not come with the light or lock. I've read bad reviews on the light anyway. People have said that it gets too hot and is a fire hazard. This cabinet was exactly what I was looking for to display my Metal Earth models.

I agree with Chris in the first review. Mine did not come with either the light nor the lock. I picked mine up at IKEA also, for the same price, and have been more than happy with BOTH the ones I bought for at least the last 6 years, maybe more. They're PERFECT for storing and displaying my many motorcycle helmets. The shelf height, width and depth is perfect for them, regardless of brand.

In answering an email from a perspective buyer, I stated that you could adjust the shelves. Unfortunately, that is wrong. I was thinking of a different case I purchased that you could do that; however, this case has about 15" between shelves. I apologize greatly! If you wanted tp vary the height you would have to drill new holes or just leave a glass shelve out.
