I bought a package of 6 dryer balls to help dry my feather bed. Feather beds are like down comforters, but they are thicker, more dense and far heavier. They also require a washer and dryer that have a 90lb capacity (not the typical large size washer and dryer at the laundromat). I had my doubts that once the featherbed was in the dryer with the dryerballs that they would be able to handle that heavy, wet down but they did! I ran it through one dry cycle and there were no lumps! Highly recommend.

These pure wool balls are wonderful for drying clothes in your clothes dryer! I've been using them for years instead of buying clothes softeners (liquid or sheets). Besides not having any chemicals or allergents in them, you will be saving a LOT of $$$! The firt time I bought them, many years ago, I was hesitant and thought..."Well, it's the price of one bottle of clothes softener. If I don't like them, I'll know to go back to the liquid." Well, I haven't gone back...I use the liquid for removing wallpaper. Besides, if you read clothing "care" tags, Many recommend "Do not use clothes softeners."

Was skeptical when I purchased, but these dryer balls do exactly what the description says. Less drying time and my clothes were actually softer. It is recommended that you replace every three years. If they last that long they are definitely worth it. I would buy every year if necessary just to save on electric bill. Will purchase again.

these are great! we got them specifically for static electricity because all of our clothes were coming out of the dryer constantly shocking us and making our hair super frizzy. since putting these in the dryer each time, we haven’t had almost any static! and they collect a good amount of lint and hairs that the dryer doesn’t catch! recommend 100%!!

The static is maddening. These do a great job of replacing dryer sheets, other reviews mentioned they also reduce static. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but if anything these seem to add static to my laundry. I read to try putting in water briefly/using damp dryerballs instead but that didn’t make a difference. These would probably be great if I lived in a humid climate where static isn’t an issue.

I really thought all wool dryer balls were the same, but I needed to buy new ones and decided to go off of reviews this time. The reviews did not steer me wrong. These are the only wool balls that not only prevented all static, but also kept my laundry soft. I’ve been using four in each dryer load. I will only buy these from now on.

I was skeptical, but I’ve been a huge fan of natural cleaning products for two decades and these WORK. I am never buying laundry softener again. They don’t smell like anything so I put a few drops of bergamot essential oil on them and they work like a dream. I’ve told my neighbors and friends and coworkers, and I will buy them again in two years. It will save me approximately $200 a year in softener products.

Very easy to use and work really well. If you want a scent for your clothes, you can add some essential oils.
