Merry Christmas, Curious George

Classic George, a Delightful Read
I do a Christmas book sack every year for my girls with new, wrapped Christmas books to unwrap and read leading up to Christmas. My toddler loves Curious George, so this was a no brainer. It has the classic Curious George illustrations and as always, Curious George gets into mischief. George and the man in the yellow hat go to a Christmas tree farm and George gets hauled away in a tree he climbed to a children's hospital.George is excited and of course innocently causes some trouble at the hospital and the nurse wants him out, but has a change of heart once she realizes how much joy George has brought to the sick children. The hardcover version is excellent quality and it's a really enjoyable read for Curious George lovers.

format problem
I love George books. They are my grandchildren's favorite books. I have downloaded this book on my kindle fire and on my iPad gen 2 with kindle reader. The words and pictures are too small on the page. They don't fill the page. It's Very difficult to read to children who want to see the pictures of George and the Christmas trees. It's hard to see the facial expressions of the characters to talk about how the characters might be feeling or the unique decorations. Also the words are very small. I had trouble reading them. Changing the size of the type size in the reader did not change the size of the pictures or the words. There was a way to tap the words on the digital pages to increase the size but the tapping interrupted the flow of The story. This book did not translate well from print to digital. I wouldn't buy it again. Instead I would buy the print version next time.

A nice Christmas story
This book was a nice addition to our Christmas Book Advent Calendar. This is the first year I did the Book Calendar so I had to buy at least half of the books to round out the stack we already owned from previous years gifts. In typical George fashion he gets into some kind of mischief that ends up working out in a happy way. In this book George gets stuck in a Christmas tree that makes its way to a children's hospital where George tries to help decorate it and make the gifts look better by changing around the bows and name tags. Of course this makes one of the nurses mad and when she is escorting George out, all of the children at the hospital are cheered up by his silly antics and beg her to let him stay. It's a nice enough book with even a visit from Santa thrown in and my daughter seemed to enjoy it, which is the most important part.

Great holiday read for a Curious George fan
My 3 year old son loves Curious George and wants to watch one show before bed every night. Reading a Curious George book instead of watching the show is a perfect trade that I can talk him into on most nights.

great Christmas story
My 4 and 2 year old have a collection of Christmas books we read before the holidays. My youngest loves Curious George and I think this book is among her favorites. It's a cute story and the stickers are a fun bonus.

Good Christmas book
Cute Christmas book. Definitely for younger kids; it’s pretty short. But it was still very sweet and my son enjoyed it.

Cute book
My 3 year old loves curious George and we liked this story. The stickers were a nice bonus. I bought several books for his friends as Christmas gifts since they were so cheap.
