Purchased the CF-20 for use while deployed for RACES/ARES events. The charger affords the ability to recharge the toughbook batteries from a 12v source. I cut the input cord and installed PowerPoles so I can still use the cigartette lighter plug, but more often will be connecting to 12v power via PowerPoles in my vehicles, exterenal LiFePo4 batteries, or power supply. Very solid product; well made and compact. Charge time from both batteries depleted to 100% is about 4hrs while still using the toughbook.

Works great to charge a tough book. Cord is long enough to still use laptop. Works for 12 volt and 24 volt charging system

I got this to supplement my Panasonic CF-33 as part of my travel kit. The dual Panasonic batteries do not have enough capacity to last enough for a trip away from the home charger. That said this is well build and charges incredibly quick. This is must have for your travel kit. highly recommended.

I use it to charge my CF-19. It does the job. However if I leave it on charge my laptop gets extremely hot. When using my AC style charger it doesn’t get hot. Not sure of the issue.

It is what it is. It’s a DC adapter to run your Panasonic Toughbook from your car or other 12V cigarette outlet. Charger does not get hot. Makes no noise. Feels lightweight, but solid. Cheap compared to most every other Toughbook accessory.

I have a Toughbook CF-54 mk3. While the power plug barrel connector is the same size as what the laptop needs, this power adapter does not have the extra thick plastic around it. It is also not a right-angle connector. So I find it not as sturdy as the original power adapter in that way. But it works great. See attached picture. Measured voltage coming out of it is 16.3 volts... the CF-54 mk3 is rated at 15.6 volts and that is what the stock AC power cord puts out. This higher voltage is less then 10% more than stock, so typically that is ok. It would be nice to see it closer to spec, IMHO.

I have purchased many of these items from the same seller and all except for one has been of high quality and compatibility. The charger works great for mobile devices. The charger is compatible and charges + provides power and increases mobility. This is a cost effective solution for charging tablets & laptops. I would highly recommend this product.

Have used this charger for a Panasonic Toughbook. Bought because I use the Toughbook to do engine tuning while riding my motorcycle. Works well, stores in a small space. Recommend

So this takes 12 volts and steps it to 19. It works great to charge the toughbook. Keeps the battery in the proper range.
