Can these be used in automotive applications?

I have these in my cart to order for a Viper DS4+ security & remote start system. They will work for this. Now, for other automotive work 12v shouldn’t make a difference. Just try not to exceed 80% load limit for the AWG. Amperage x voltage = wattage. Wattage / voltage = amperage. Wattage / amperage = voltage. Find a chart that shows maximum wattage or amperage for AWG then multiply it by .8 to find the safe load (20AWG is 132w max on 12v... 132w x 0.8 = 105w). find the amperage or wattage on back of device the wiring is running to and make sure it’s a like wattage. There are other complexities that can factor in but in reality this is all you need to know for the question. Hope this helps anyone.

I believe so. The same or like the others used in mother Board application that are out ther.
