Decent sander for the money.
Honestly with a shop full of high end tool I didn't know what to expect but with 39 hardwood cabinet doors to refinish I thought I'd give it a try. This guy works great. It runs smooth and removes material reasonably quickly. OK, it's build quality is not mirka or festool but neither is the price. My mirka deros was nearly $600.00. The only problem I encountered was the dust bin kept falling off but I use a vacuum with an auto switch so who cares, I don't use it anyway. In the end after 4 days of constant, hard use this guy held its own. I'll use it again and again anytime my 6" and 5" RO sanders can't get into corners. I give it 5 stars for function and 3 stars for build quality. Final note, there are many reviews regarding replacement paper. I use mirka abranet hook loop which comes in rolls. Set the sander on it and cut off the length with a razor knife. It's an abrasive net so dust collection works great no clogs.

This is one wonderful tool!!
I have been using sanders for well over 30 years. When my my old 1/3 sheet sander quit I looked at what was now available , only to become somewhat confused with all the new 1/4 sanders and the very few 1/3 sanders now available. I decided to take a chance on this new 1/2 sheet sander, as the price was reasonable. It surpassed all my expectations, is light , easy to use and cuts my sanding time in half! The only complaint I have, is that the availability of pre made sanding sheets is limited to only 120 grit. It is no real issue to cut my own from full sheets, and they work perfectly well, I do hope the handier pe-made ones do come about soon.

So Excited about this Sheet Sander!
Not many women get excited about an electrical sheet sander but, I have caught on the craze of DIY furniture makeovers. Did I include I love it because it is electric? That makes it even better. I don't have the strength to do the makeovers by hand. All of the sanding by hand is something I would never be able to do so, I had to look at the electrical sander if I wanted to pursue this hobby. Things have to be taken slowly but, this is a wonderful sheet sander and I highly recommend this to everyone who needs to do sanding for work or hobbies. Photo shows my next project in the spring when it is warmer. I will update with pics of before, during, and after. Thanks for your kind reply!

Great tool to use for sanding walls
Used the tool to do a quick sand job on a paint job. After I finished patching some of the holes in the walls, I used this sander to quickly smooth the walls down. Tool was super big and super heavy -- it did the job but my arms were sore afterwards. I liked how it had an extra case that collected all the dust from the sanding, so I didn't have to deal with breathing in too much of the sandy air. Would have definitely liked it if it was cordless, but since I'm an amateur painter, I did not think of this until I started using the machine and realized how annoying the cord was. Use an extension cord for more convenience in moving around the room but ideally, a cordless sander would work much more better.

Really like the variable speed.
At the slower speeds, the sander is able to capture much of the saw dust, and the sand paper does not get clogged. I already have the typical high speed palm sander. But the palm sander throws a cloud of sawdust into the air, and the sand paper gets clogged. Using this sander at the slower speed, it takes longer to sand, but cleanup is much quicker. Plus the hook and loop sandpaper allows you to sand inside corners. The only negative is that the hook and loop sandpaper is not available at the local store. The sander does have spring clips to hold conventional sandpaper, but I have not used them.

Easy to change paper
This sander has power like you wouldn't believe. 6 different speed levels also. Love the dust collector bin, that is easily removed to clean. To switch out the sandpaper is definitely an easy job, with a kind of Velcro attachment on it, it makes changing a breeze. Sander came just in time for me to work on one of my new furniture projects. I covered sanding a lot of wood in a short time.

Outstanding Sander
This sander is EXACTLY what I needed and wanted. The sander all the big box stores have are 1/4 sheet and finding a 1/3 sheet is extremely hard so when I found this one which is a full 1/2 sheet I was blown away. The variable speed is something that is not found on most other sanders unless you get a detail sander. This sander is very easy to hold and fits comfortable in your hand. The dust catch does a pretty darn good job collection dust too. Great sander and great price. I also want to mention the customer support is incredible. The sander came with the locking tab for the dust collector broken. I got in touch with the seller and said I just needed the top shelter of the dust collector as that was all that was wrong. Well two days later I get a complete 2nd sander at no charge!!! OUTSTANDING sander and INCREDIBLE customer support

Great Sander For Homeowner
As a homeowner there are always certain works required that need sanding wood. Till now I used to do this by hand, but it is so much more comfortable and also more effective to have this automated with a machine. The sander is not noisy and the sanding paper sticks well to it and does not come off while using it. The sander is light and easy to use. I only used the device for wood surfaces but with the right sanding paper multiple other materials can be sanded and polished. This is a great tool for a homeowner and will make your sanding tasks more enjoyable and faster than it used to be by hand. I can not comment about long term durability yet but my initial tests have been really satisfactory. I will update my review if something changes in future.
