Review: Garvee 2ton engine hoist - One of the legs has some dents but it’s on the bottom it doesn’t affect anything still give it 5 stars bc of the price and my use is for heavier motors on small engines it got my job done and lined my motor up in a tight frame by myself I also like that the pins for the legs can be removed for easy storage as pictured assembly is also very easy with a socket set and Allen wrench.

One of the legs has some dents but it’s on the bottom it doesn’t affect anything still give it 5 stars bc of the price and my use is for heavier motors on small engines it got my job done and lined my motor up in a tight frame by myself I also like that the pins for the legs can be removed for easy storage as pictured assembly is also very easy with a socket set and Allen wrench.

### ⭐⭐ Every piece scratched or dented

Not every mechanic who works on their own cars has a nice shop to work in so when it rains sometimes things get wet if they are in use at the time. Every single piece of the engine hoist was dented or scratched through the paint exposing the steel below. So now my new hoist just out of the box already has rust on it. Heck the flange that bolts to the rolling base that holds up the central post was actually bent when it arrived requiring some gentle persuasion with a 8lb hand sledge. Oh and be aware if you extend the arm to its maximum extension to work around body work the maximum weight it can lift is 1/2 ton or 1000lb. Lucky for me the load I want to lift is my Toyota truck bed and it's only 900lbs. If you don't mind your new shop equipment being rusted the day you receive it then buy this one.
