I used the Black and Decker Easy Steam Iron for the first time and I loveeee it!!!💕💕💕It worked so nicely on my shirts and denims. I started with the lowest setting for the light weight fabrics. It worked like a charm. Then I filled it with some water and raised the thermostat to demims (heavy cotton). It was incredibly steamy. I felt like I was in a sauna. It worked perfectly!!! All the wrinkles came out and the denims look fantastic! I tried the burst of steam too. Now this is where it was a little confusing for me. I don’t know if it’s supposed to shoot out a nice puff of steam while in steam mode, or the iron produces MORE steam on top of the steam you are already getting.? Even so, it still produced alot of abundant steam. The water spray button worked beautifully too . I was worried that it would shoot all over the place or go so far out that other things around me would get jet streamed and saturated with water. Instead, the aim was a very focused, well distributed , fine spray of water. The iron is light weight and very well made. If you have a lot of ironing this iron won’t cramp your hands like others that weigh a ton. It glides so smoothly and doesn’t snag or catch onto material. It stands on its heel when resting and the cord is a flexible cord that moves with you as you are ironing( dual position ) I also did not have any spitting or leaks with my first attempt using this iron. I poured water into the chamber and closed the snap cover. It worked like a champ. I think Black and Decker made this iron with the intention of it being practical , light weight, super durable and easy to use . The performance of this iron truly deserves 10 stars. It isn’t a super techno -iron that needs Bluetooth or a Password. . There aren’t bells 🛎️and whistles 😙📣going off … but…if you want reliability ,and a good solid little iron that delivers…. then this is for you!!😉 Ohhh… and it has a 2 year warranty, manufacturer website for contact and phone number for customer service support. I recently bought this iron after having a fallout with a cheaper Panamanian one (yes, I’m in Panama right now). This Black+Decker iron has worked amazingly so far and it hasn’t shorted itself out like the other did, so so far the quality is great. I’m not as picky about appearance as I am functionality, but this iron has such a sleek design that it was one of the first options that caught my eye while searching. I cannot stress how incredibly satisfied I am with the length of the cord!!! The other iron that shorted itself out after two uses had wimpy three foot cord and I had to use an extension. With this iron, I don’t need an extension! The temperature control works great, and it’s gets REALLY hot, so this iron is great for thick cotton shirts and jeans. I don’t fill the iron with water since my local tap water is hard and would gunk up the inner parts so I just use a spray bottle, no worries about leakage. In fact that’s what I recommend to use even if the iron says “steam “; just use a spray bottle filled water, it’s easier, I can’t say much on it’s durability since I’ve only had this iron for about a week, but it did withstand a two hour ironing session a couple days ago, so I would say it’s pretty durable for a $20 iron. So far, I’m happy with this iron!!

This iron works very well. It does not have an automatic shut-off, which makes it perfect for me. There are few things more frustrating in sewing than getting ready to iron out a seam and get back to sewing just to have to wait for your iron to heat up again because it shut itself off. This iron heats up well, and the steam is steamy, not spitty. It has an extra steam button, and a spray button. That being said, the steam is otherwise controlled by the heat setting that you choose. No dry ironing at high temperatures, which is a feature that I would like. But I would recommend this iron, if want hours of available ironing.

Love this cute iron. Mine does not leak has a great strong steam out put. Heats up fast. Multiple settings and seems durable.

Love this iron! Great quality, easy to store. Takes awhile to heat up. I like that it will use tap water. And the settings for each type of material is very helpful.

This is a great iron. No complaints whatsoever. Love the nonstick plate. Read the box. It is tested at factory before being boxed & distributed so there may be condensation in the iron when received. That was not an issue for me. Just took couple minutes to flush out any potential discolored water. Honestly, I would do that with any new iron anyway.

This is a good iron. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it was used when I got it. The inside of it was still wet from whomever returned it. Lucky for me, it worked very well.

This is advertised on Amazon UK - I did not expect it to be coming from the USA and not have an english plug on the cord. Just something for other UK purchasers to be aware of.

This is a super lightweight and compact iron with good gliding surface. It works well, no dripping so far, I find the cable to be long enough. It is compact, but the water tank is enough for about 10 minutes of ironing at full power without need for refill. Iron is only 1200 W, not 2000 W as stated here. I bought this IR06V variant for 40 CAD and preferred it over buying the cheaper one IR06VC sold for 25 CAD just because I thought it was 2000 W. I wonder what the difference between IR06V and IR06VC is. When used at maximum power the iron turns on every 15-20s when in use, which is a bit unusual. Anyways I use it for daily quick (max 5 minutes) ironing at full power and so far no issues with it. I might write an update later. And for those that might be concerned, I also had water droplets inside the tank, but this should be not something one should be worried about. It is actually a proof that this item was tested for quality. EDIT: After nearly a year it is still going strong and there is no dripping. Very good product, I cn recommend.

The iron is really great and I really love the steam factor that comes with the iron. I have had Black and Decker products before and they are really great. This one is my favourite and that’s why I chose it.
