I bought this model after comparing similar players from other brands and watching some reviews from self proclaimed audiophile youtubers. This cd player gave new life to my cd collection and was a huge improvement from the cheap $25 portable battery cd player that I used! I was transported back in time to my teenage years when I used to crank up my cds through a Kenwood 1 bit cd player! Comparable cd players sell for a higher price tag. However, be prepared to wait one or two months for its delivery, since it looks like these are special orders to an overseas supplier. My wait for this product was worth it! It has a good DAC, optical connector, rca connector, remote control and a headphone amp (that is fantastic for easy to drive, NOT power hungry headphones).

So far working ok. I am not sure if this is a refurbished unit, or someone did not like it and returned it., but i am pleased with the sound as a transport with the SU1. I still want to do an AB comparison using its internal DAC. Oops, just froze as I was playing a CD. No response to any control, I had to unplug it and then it was fine. Gotta test it out more, if it does it again, it is going back. Update: It did not freeze again, it sounds the same to my ears with the internal and external DAC. It sounds really nice and its operation is very smooth and quiet.
