Manganese Steel Engine Splash Shield for Kia K5
This upgraded engine splash shield is designed for 2021–2024 Kia K5 models and replaces OEM part number 29110-L3000. Unlike many factory undercovers that are made from plastic, this version uses manganese steel, which provides increased strength and durability for protecting the engine bay from road debris, dirt, and minor impacts. The shield functions as a lower engine guard, helping protect sensitive components such as the oil pan and other underbody parts during everyday driving. The metal construction may also offer improved resistance to cracking or damage compared to standard plastic covers, particularly in rough road conditions. The kit includes mounting screws, which can simplify installation when replacing a damaged or missing factory panel. Proper fitment with the original mounting points helps maintain the vehicle’s underbody protection and airflow design. Overall, it provides a sturdier alternative for Kia K5 owners seeking added protection for the lower engine area. Solid value for a more durable shield than the plastic ones.

Not enough hardware
The shield fit right into place. The only issue was that there wasn’t enough bolts. I had to reuse some of the old ones.
