Tried multiple sets of batteries, couldn't get light on. Tried all troubleshooting steps they recommended.

Looks and feels great but does not operate Soundbar 500
The RYQIF Remote Control for Bose Smart Sound Bar looks like a great remote. It's a nice size, sturdy remote with real rubber pressable buttons. The face has a brushed metal texture (though rendered in plastic) and it even has a Braille indication for the power button. The remote runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included) and the batteries have a little extra molding to capture the negative end. All that's to say that this isn't cheaply built; there are choices here that indicate it should be a high quality device and definitely wasn't built to be cheap. I was very disappointed to find that it does not actually operate my Soundbar 500. None of the functions work to control the soundbar, and it's unable to turn it on. I was able to check and verify that it is sending IR signals, but they just don't seem to be compatible ones. Despite its physical quality and appearance, I cannot recommend this remote to anyone who owns a Bose Soundbar 500.
