Doesn’t hold bits wel
This thing doesn’t hold the bits well for drilling poles. I’ve tried numerous different styles from regular wood to fiber glass bits. It doesn’t have much power either save your money and just pay a lil extra for the Milwaukee.

KLEIN WONT REPLACE THE DRILL IF ITS BOUGHT FROM AMAZON.
DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON. I bought mine in October and it is now July and without reason it just stopped working, dead. Amazon’s return window was 90 days (Jan) and Klein won’t offer a new one because Amazon isn’t a Klein vendor. So now my only option is to ship it back to Klein so they can verify purchase date and repair it for a fee. BE WARNED FELLOW LINEMEN. I’m now screwed into buying a new drill so I can continue working or waiting for Klein’s repair service.

I thought Klein was supposed to make powerline tools
DO NOT USE ON ENERGIZED PRIMARY ! I’ve owned this drill for 4 months, only used it for 2 months. The first time I put it on a 8kv line to tighten wire in a shoe the drill died on me. It’s completely done so I’m currently trying to find out how to return the darn thing.

Very nice drill for the price!
This drill is just as good as the Milwaukee drill and is almost half the price!! I've used both and framed many poles with both drills and this one holds its own.

Excellent Impact
This impact is excellent. I use it to drill utility poles and in combination with a wood owl bit, it is the best.
