Chrome Devil Skull Shift Knob For Car

I love the way this knob looks and its good quality but I had a hard time putting it on my shifter. I bought it for a manual shifter. This would have fit if I didn't use the little rubber piece that came with is and tapped it on with a hammer but it would have looked bad because the hole wasn't deep enough to cover up the machined area on the shifter. Also, there's no way to secure this knob to keep it from spinning around... There are no set screws. I had to massacre my old shift knob and retrieve the aluminum sleeve from it.. Then, I had to go buy a $22 3\4" drill bit and drill this hole wider and deeper to get the old sleeve to fit snugly inside.. I just put some gorilla glue in the hole, i hope it holds. Then I just put the old sleeve on the shifter and used those set screws. I don't have any idea what kind of shifter this was made for because it just doesn't look like it would fit anything.. There are no threads.. It's just a shallow hole that's a little over 1\2" deep and it comes with a rubber piece. I think it would take modifications for anybody to use this on anything... But I was able to make it work in the end and I'm happy with the look and quality of the material.

It looks great, exactly what I was wanting. However for a shift knob I expected it to have threads on the inside to screw it on to the shifter instead it comes with a rubber plug that does not stay on the shifter. I should have read the entire discription for this product, but I assumed that if it was a shift knob that it would have threads not just a rubber grommet. I have had to try and alter this product to fit on my shifter so it will stay. If I can get this product to stay I will update my review but until then not to happy with product.

Mounting method could be sturdier.

This shift knob is of great quality. I wish it came with an install kit though. Anyone with basic hand skills can make it work. My husband used a drimmel to tap it out to the size that fit on the shifter. Good weight, durable, great details. My husband loves it in his truck.

Good quality, no adapters or set screw.

very cool product seems well made its has a lil weight to it im going to use a fender ornament on my bike. I saw these at a truck stop and they were priced way higher 50 bucks or better

Great product fit on shifter looks cool

The Devil's horns on it's head are too sharp when you palm them to shift. I can put up with them OK however.
