PLEASE READ - MY EXPERIENCE-LOVE THIS FITBIT
I WANT TO MAKE SURE MY EXPERIENCE IS SHARED WITH OTHERS: I ordered this back in Jan 2013. Was perfect and easy to use when delivered. I used it everyday for about 6 months. Then I stopped because I became busy and always syncing from my computer was getting to be a hassle. So anyways, a few weeks ago I decided I wanted to start using it again especially because I'm going on a cruise the end of this year. So, I went to go turn it on and IT WOULDNT TURN ON. I began freaking out and reading what could be wrong. I couldnt find anything besides being told to take the battery out and put it back in, I did this several times. It still didnt work! So, I got upset because I knew the last time I checked the battery it had a FULL battery, so I wasnt convinced that was my problem. Anyways, I emailed fitbit through their customer service on their website. They basically said they couldnt find an order # for me and that I needed to contact who I bought it from. So i remembered I bought it from Amazon, so I emailed them and they told me usually there's only a 30 day warranty but in my case, theyd make an exception. They sent me a replacement, free of charge. All I had to do was send back my old one (which I did a few days ago). WOW! Let me say, I AM IMPRESSED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am so happy they made things right with me! They were very kind to me and I will definetly be showing off my fitbit to my family on this cruise (ALOT of us are going) and ill be trying to convince them of this amazing device, and also to purchase from Amazon if they do get it!! Please keep up this amazing customer service, I am VERY, VERY happy with Amazon AND my fitbit. I HIGHLY SUGGEST this to anyone who is looking to count their steps, cals burned, distance traveled, and more! Just a note: This fitbit zip is NOT one that can track sleep, so if thats something your wanting, this one is NOT for you. I was just looking for an accurate step counter, and this does the job PERFECTLY! You wont be disappointed!! Good luck with your purchase (: P.S. If anything goes wrong, and this one stops working suddenly too, I will be sure to update!

A great way to monitor your exercise and overall activity level.
I am diabetic and need to exercise and eat right to keep my blood sugar at healthy levels. I got a Fitbit as a gift from my wife (and lost it). She gave me a black one, which is really hard to see if it comes loose, so I replaced it with the green one. The picture here is of the pink one, but I got the neon green one, which really isn't as vibrant a neon green as the picture would suggest. It's more like an Army-issue olive drab green, but it's still easier to see than the black one. I'm using this to help me lose weight, too, and I'd lost 20 pounds prior to getting the Fitbit. Since then, it's kept me aware of when I slack off on my walking and as a result I've managed to drop another 10+ pounds. I recommend clipping it in your pocket as low as it will go, otherwise it gets in the way. The black one I lost was carried loose in my pocket and I'm sure at some point I got out my keys or something and it fell and I didn't hear it fall. The big trick is remembering to take it off at night at bedtime and put it on the pants I wear the next day. I don't really use the calorie counter or the mileage/distance function, since there's no way to adjust it to my normal stride. So, I just keep track of my steps. If you have a laptop or PC, this comes with a "dongle" that plugs into a USB port and you can sync it daily to a "dashboard" that keeps track of your daily steps on a weekly or monthly basis. It also keeps a running total of steps and I'm well over 200,000 in the 6 weeks I've been using this. More than anything this is useful as a reminder to myself to get up and MOVE and not sit down watching TV or reading too much. I may get a wrist Fitbit at some point, but for now this is just great. You pay a few dollars more for the neon green than you do for the black one, but IMHO it's worth the money just so you can find the darn thing easier! I am having fun with this and highly recommend it for those of you (myself included) who may not walk as much as we should. I'm literally walking the pounds off!

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!
I LOVE my Fitbit Zip! I clip it on to my bra first thing in the morning and don't take it off until I go to bed at night. It is such a motivator and so easy to use. I always thought that I was pretty active, taking in hopefully 10,000 steps a day! Boy, was I wrong. Now when I sync my zip to my computer, if I don't have at least 10,000 or at least 5 miles, I'll go for another walk or practice my line dance steps just to get in my numbers! My sister-in-law, who lives in another state also has one and we are now fitbit buddies! We can see how many steps we are doing, and I try to keep ahead of her. I'm so glad that I bought this Zip! I've had it now for almost 2 weeks and I just got my Penguin March badge for going over 70 miles! What a hoot. I also have my Urban Boot badge for doing 15,000 steps in one day and I am working on my next badge for 20,000 steps.....it ain't easy but like I said it is a motivator! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay healthy and maybe even lose some weight, like me. Well, after 2 weeks of bliss, the zip would not sync to my computer, no matter what we did. I love the whole concept, but I want something that is going to be reliable. I have requested a refund and will give the zip one more chance. Well, I bought a 2nd one, it arrived yesterday, and this one won't sync at all! I give up. I am sending this one back and looking into other models not associated with fitbit!!

This is my 2nd Fitbit Zip. Liked the first one so much, I got a second one. I wear with a fitbit zip watch strap. You can never loose it that way.

Me gusta porque lo llevo en cualquier sitio y no ocupa espacio pero la verdad lo que importa es la motivación sin motivación ningún aparato vale para nada !

The product has been constantly ridiculed for its battery. The stock battery dies after 5-6 months of usage. I would recommend to buy the replacement battery from the airport or some trusted shop. I bought batteries twice from local stores and not once was able to get it to work. Thought its a complete waste of money till i gave it another try. Now it is working as expected (got batteries from a store in Dubai). Also, please ignore the calorie count as they are counted based on a simple algorithm and are not tracked. However, step count accuracy is by far among the best in the industry. If you are a beginner who is interested in knowing how active you are during the day, it is a sure shot buy!

Ansonsten: Empfehlenswert.
