SmartGames IQ XOXO - Pocket Travel Puzzle Brain Teaser Game, Ages 6+

These were a gift for my 10-year-old son. He enjoys them very much. They’re easy to put in your purse if you’re going somewhere and need something to keep him busy we’ve been buying these for about two years. All of them have held up well his friends enjoy them too.

My son saw a friend using these at a Scout event and I purchased these to throw in my purse. They are great, super compact for a bag or pocket and love the fact that it is an activity for him outside the house that's not a tablet. Great design, love the fact that it's durable and compact. My son is 7 years old and has played it with kids as young as 3 or 4 who it enjoy it too. Awesome product!

Our daughter is one that has to keep busy. This is a great way to keep her busy and thinking without the use of a tablet. There are so many different "games" within this game that it keeps her entertained for longer periods of time than other games that are more simple. I am looking into other games from this brand for future gifts as they work great in the car and in the house alike!

Link XOXO is a little different then the typical puzzles from IQ and Kanoodle. The basic premise is the same, you choose a puzzle, for in the pieces then use the rest of the pieces to fill in the board. However XOXO also has the added challenge of making sure they are in the X O order. The peices will not fit right or even sit in the board right if the X O X O pattern is not followed. The puzzles start with easy and go to difficult. The solutions are in the back of the booklet The pieces are sturdy and well made in bright fun colors. The case is very sturdy and clicks shut tight to keep the pieces and booklet in save and sound. I threw it in a bag and took it on a plane and what not and it made it without any issues. I highly recommend.

My 13 year older received this for Christmas. It wasn’t her go to game but we took it with us on some long car journeys and it helped pass the time. Good levels of difficulty. Challenging enough for her without being impossible.

We love the Smart Games brand. This is the fourth game we've bought from them. XOXO deals with patterns. You place the pieces on the board according to the pattern given to you on a card. Then, you try and figure out what pieces fill the empty spots. Pieces fit together in a multitude of ways. But, only one way will fit all pieces together perfectly. The patterns on the cards get harder and harder as you go along, making this an appropriate game for all ages! My 5-year old enjoys this game as well as my husband and I. This is a single-person game and can be played at your own speed. It's small enough for travel and comes in it's own hard plastic case. My 5-year old also really enjoys the Ghost Hunter Game.

As a senior age 72 I bought a few of these SmartGames products and am working my way through them. This one is just a little easier in the beginning. Starts to get harder at the end of the Junior section. I just finished the last one in the Expert section. Took me a while. I think the IQ Twist is harder in general. It is deceiving, you would think it would be no big deal. Anyway, I recommend these games to anyone, young and old alike. They do make you use your brain, and I'm trying to hang on to mine for a while longer.

I love using this to play with while i’m bored, it gets me off my phone and isn’t so clunky and huge. A great, affordable, and portable puzzle game that will simulate your brain!

Excellent game for kids

Ma fille de 6 ans adore! Ça lui permet de passer un moment calme à réfléchir, à se concentrer et à manipuler les petites pièces. Ça lui permet de progresser progressivement et d'être fier de pouvoir réussir les niveaux, même mon fils de 4ans s'y ai mis (à son niveau)

Leuk spelletje, voor urenlang plezier. Helaas alleen in enveloppe verpakt, waardoor de verpakking is beschadigd en ik het niet leuk vind om kado te geven.

My kid loved it. Even I enjoy playing with him. The puzzles are really challenging at the end. But it is best for brain.
