Photography has come so far since I was taking classes in high school and college. When I pick up this tiny beautiful thing, I can't help but remember my first flashes which were two or three times larger and heavier. And with not nearly the features, either! Oh yeah, and there were all the batteries to worry about, too! So I love the size and weight of this thing, I love that it's rechargeable, I love that it's powerful and easily adjustable, and the attachments to further refine the effect. This is the kind of gear that inspires you to get out and put it to use! I love that it works with the camera on auto mode to adjust the flash strength just right. It's true that I can't point the flash to bounce it off the ceiling, but I almost never shoot indoors anyway. It's also true that it can cast some shadow with a long lens, but it's still infinitely better than the built-in flash on my A6400, which I never even consider using. I'll use this most for fill when shooting into backlight or evening hours.

This flash is great! Right now these small flashes have made a comeback and are really popular. Because of the direct nature, they are perfect for getting that retro 80s harsh style look in your photos. I love the fact that is comes with a couple of magnetic filters as well. The flash charges via USB and shoots in manual or TTL. It is a awesome addition to my kit

I’ve been using the Godox iT22S Mini Flash with my Sony a6700, and it’s quickly become my go-to for travel and quick shoots. The TTL metering works flawlessly, giving me natural, balanced fill light without fussing with complicated settings. Switching between TTL and manual modes is effortless with a single button, and the small OLED screen makes adjustments intuitive. Weighing just 52g, this flash is ultra-portable and fits nicely on my compact a6700, even with a caged setup. The 1.5-second recycle time at full power and 700+ flashes per USB-C charge means I rarely have to wait between shots, and the built-in battery is convenient for long days out. The magnetic diffusers and color filters are fun additions for creative lighting, though you could possibly lose them if you're not mindful, so it’s something to be careful about. The main limitation I noticed is lens shadow with larger zooms at shorter focal lengths; this is less of an issue with primes or smaller lenses. It’s not a replacement for a full-size speedlight or studio strobe, but for everyday photography, portraits, and casual fill light, it delivers excellent results at a very reasonable price. Overall, the iT22S is lightweight, reliable, and a solid value for a6700 shooters who want portability without sacrificing quality.

This is a really nice, compact travel flash for Sony Alpha Cameras. It comes with everything you'll need: a carrying pouch, a USB-C charging cable, three magnetic color filters, and the flash. The flash is rechargeable via USB-C and, for the most part, will last you some time, even at full power. Flash mode includes manual and TTL if you prefer automatic. Being that it is a smaller flash, the light is more directional and a bit harsher, which is where the clear/white magnetic diffuser comes in handy. It communicates directly with the camera via the MI connection at the hotshoe. Also, the flash release is a new press-release mechanism that is much nicer and easier to mount and dismount.
