Worked pretty well on sun and moon roof from the inside
I tried this product out to cut down on the wind noise from my sun roof and used what was left in my moon roof. I used this product to seal the inside (I never use them anyway). As long as you clean well first and let the surface dry, the adhesion was great on application and has lasted. It was as easy to install as a product not specifically made for this could be. It was definitely worth the purchase price just to try and it works pretty well so definitely a win. It did cut down on the noise level and it’s holding up well so far.

adhesive weather stripping works great on house doors, too!
I actually ordered this roll of adhesive car door weather seal to use around a door in my house that has a major air leak. The door leads to my garage, so all day long we are losing warm air as it trades places with the freezing cold air outside in the garage. In my opinion it has worked even better than ordinary weather stripping for residential doors, and I suspect that the shape of the weather stripping has a lot to do with its superior performance. It is lined all the way down one side with some high-quality 3M adhesive tape. All you have to do is cut the appropriate length of weather stripping, then, while peeling off the adhesive backing about a foot at a time, slowly press and stick the adhesive to the door frame a few inches at a time.Remember to try to not stretch it too much so it doesn't try to contract later. When I first opened the package it had a strong, funky, chemical-like smell to it, which slowly dissipated over the next couple hours. It has been 4 days since applying the weather stripping to the door frame, and it is still doing its job perfectly. The adhesive backing is still holding good and tight.Would definitely recommend for any door that is letting air leak through.
